[16:46]<@Calum> yo, sorry I was in a game
[16:55]<@BC_Programming> I have a smart/mobile phone now weee
[17:00] * BCP_Phone (AndChat401@mib-50A38668.no.shawcable.net) Quit (Ping timeout: 183 seconds)
[17:05]<@BC_Programming> I guess it makes sense it does that when it goes to sleep
[17:12]<@Calum> Oh yeah, how's that going?
[17:13]<@BC_Programming> Reasonably useful so far, though I've not really used the whole mobile aspect yet
[17:14]<@BC_Programming> just used it at home for watching shows shared via a network drive from my desktop
[17:14]<@Calum> Fsir enough
[17:15]<@BC_Programming> I got it to work for my E-mails, Skype, and Webex as well
[17:15]<@Calum> I tend to find I only really use mine for email and web browsing, oh and mobile banking. I use like...2 apps...not really a heavy mobile user really
[17:16]<@BC_Programming> I tried to use an SNES emulator... yeah nope
[17:17]<@BC_Programming> the wallpapers I made for my computer look pretty good on it though: http://bc-programming.com/misc/androidscreen.png
[17:18]<@Calum> Oh, I do have a GBC emulator on mine as well actually :P
[17:18]<@Calum> nice
[17:19]<@BC_Programming> yeah for the SNES it's too tricky to use the controls
[17:19]<@BC_Programming> GB is probably doable, far fewer buttons
[17:19]<@BC_Programming> of course- I have an actual Game boy color so there is that
[17:23]<@Calum> heh
[17:23]<@Calum> you can get controllers and all sorts for Android phones too
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> That is true but my thinking was more about what I would be able to do with only the phone
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> Especially since I have the actual consoles and PCs and controllers and such I could use as well at home
[17:24]<@Calum> fair point
[18:20]<@Calum> Good work ubuntu installer...create me a 28GB swap partition on the 32GB drive, cram everything else into the remaining <4GB, then start bleating about having no space left as soon as you boot up
[18:22]<@BC_Programming> lol
[18:23]<@Calum> I obviously need 28GB of swap space. I don't know why it's doing it differently now, I installed ubuntu on this same machine, pretty sure it was even the same version, before this and it did things more sensibly
[18:23]<@Calum> meh
[18:23]<@BC_Programming> More RAM?
[18:24]<@Calum> nah, it still has 28GB
[18:24]<@Calum> maybe it was Debian I installed last time, I might have forgotten
