[14:57]<+Mulreay> My apologies for my random comments the other day. I'm taking VERY strong painkillers, anti inflamatories and in conjunction with my happy pills they create a weird effect of me feeling very erm.. loose with my inhabitions.
[15:02]<+camerongray> lol, no problem
[15:02]<+camerongray> I see you got a job? (According to Facebook)
[15:05]<Tux2> lol Mulreay
[15:05]<+Mulreay> Yeah I'm a 'ramp agent' at Manchester airport
[15:06]<+camerongray> Sweet, that's great!
[15:06]<+camerongray> So now I can blame you if my bags get damaged :P
[15:06]<Tux2> Ha ha!
[15:07]<+Mulreay> Not really I have to lift 500 - 1000 heavy luggage a day :-p though I have lost 10.4lbs in 3 weeks
[15:07]<+camerongray> Ouch!
[15:07]<+camerongray> But at least it's doing something
[15:07]<+camerongray> And adds to a CV.etc
[15:08]<+Mulreay> I'm leaving the country in September so it's all academic.. just don't mention that on FB as I'm friends with my supervisor
[15:10]<+camerongray> Ahh, Malta?
[15:13]<+Mulreay> indeedy, the shop in London is sold, just waiting for the money and the such.. but yeah September i will be living in a beautiful mediteranean country getting sun tanned whilst setting up a business
[15:13]<+camerongray> Sweet!

[16:27]<+Mulreay> 1hr 10mins for a pizza delivery.. not cool
[16:27]<@BC_Programming> haha wtf
[16:28]<+Mulreay> estimated delivery time.. I could do 40mins but that takes the piss.. anyway paid for now
[16:29]<@BC_Programming> I can't pay for mine ahead of time. Which doesn't really make sense, you'd expect that to be required
[16:29]<@BC_Programming> when you order online I mean
[16:29]<+Mulreay> I like the way they take my money then tell me it's ridiculous
[16:32]<+Mulreay> Will now have to sit downstairs in 20mins in the off chance they don't take over an hour
[16:33]<+Mulreay> Mmm could take the laptop down and get some work done I suppose
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> I've found them more trustworthy than fedex or UPS
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> I guess that's because they can't just sneak a pizza on your front lawn or hide it in the bushes
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> or leave a door tag
[16:34]<@BC_Programming> "We couldn't deliver your Pizza today, we'll try to deliver it tomorrow"
[16:34]<+camerongray> Why can't you wait upstairs for the Pizza? :P
[16:35]<@BC_Programming> might not hear them?
[16:36]<@BC_Programming> oh look ast mr fancy pants with his doorbell
[16:36]<+Mulreay> Won't hear him knocking camerongray, damn you noise cancelling headphones
[16:36]<+camerongray> Pfft, Doorbells...
[16:36]<+camerongray> I have a voice intercom system
[16:36]<+camerongray> :P
[16:37]<+camerongray> Where some idiot decided to put the "Disable buzzer" button right next to the "Open door" button - Missed a couple of deliveries by accidentally doing that
[16:39]<+Mulreay> Your country is very 'Americanised' bc hense you get shite service and pay tips for it. I got my haircut today and it was VERY basic, he even said 'take a seat and I'll be over in a minute' chatting away with a random customer.. 5mins later I'm getting pissed of.. comes over cuts my hair I say what do I you? He says £7 without tip, I say '£7 then' and walk out.
[16:40]<+camerongray> hehe
[16:40]<+camerongray> I tend to go and collect Pizza
[16:40]<@BC_Programming> If I get crappy service I don't tip
[16:41]<+camerongray> Mainly since Domino's are so useless I need to go to inspect the Pizza and get them to remake it most times
[16:41]<@BC_Programming> but I Find that if you tip you tend to get better repeat service also
[16:41]<@BC_Programming> including free pizza once when my card didn't work
[16:41]<+Mulreay> I will ALWAYS tip good service
[16:42]<+Mulreay> I've been a bar manager and a cafe manager. Tips make the difference between eating protein or salad.
[16:42]<+camerongray> lol
[16:43]<+camerongray> What annoys me is when places put a tip on automatically
[16:44]<@BC_Programming> for some reason I suddenly remembered something that happened when Myself and the other developers at our company and our general manager went for Lunch
[16:44]<+camerongray> I'd tip in a restaurant but not in a bar
[16:44]<+camerongray> Would never think to tip in a bar ;P
[16:45]<+Mulreay> The sad thing camerongray is it's not the staffs fault and you shouldn't blame them. It's the greedy owners that not only want you to pay for there product but they want you to pay for there staff as well.
[16:45]<+camerongray> Yeah
[16:45]<+camerongray> BC_Programming: Oh?
[16:45]<@BC_Programming> I may have had a few beers :P and then when the waitress brought me another one I said "Bueatiful! And the beer is nice too"
[16:45]<+Mulreay> I pay a tip on EVERY drink I buy in a bar
[16:45]<+camerongray> Wow, I've never seen that :P
[16:46]<@BC_Programming> THat had nothing to do with tipping though
[16:46]<+camerongray> bhaha, brilliant
[16:46]<+Mulreay> I will buy a pint in Manchester for say £3 and give 50p or £1 tip
[16:47]<+camerongray> Nothing exciting like that ever happens to us at work
[16:47]<+camerongray> Well, out accountant almost burned the pub down once
[16:47]<+camerongray> But apart from that
[16:47]<@BC_Programming> Heh I was debating when I was asked for a fourth beer
[16:47]<+camerongray> She put her bag on the table and didn't notice the candle
[16:48]<+Mulreay> It's actually expected in the bar world to make up your wages.. how messed up is that though.. it's not the company that looks after you but the customer
[16:48]<+camerongray> Yeah
[16:48]<@BC_Programming> I don't think I went for it so it's probably a good thing, imagine my surprise as I forgot how to walk when we left lol
[16:48]<+camerongray> Only one pub I to actually has any sort of tip jar
[16:49]<+camerongray> Most places up here are small though, not big chains
[16:49]<+camerongray> hehe
[16:49]<+camerongray> I've never been that drunk thankfully
[16:49]<+camerongray> Since I'm generally a klutz at the best of times
[16:50]<+Mulreay> I just hand over more than the pint money so say the pint costs £3 I always say 'and yours' most bar staff will take either a 50p or a £1 dependant on how much they need the cash
[16:50]<@BC_Programming> Apparently drinking makes me Smooth?
[16:50]<@BC_Programming> I would have never said that Sober
[16:51]<+camerongray> lol
[16:51]<+camerongray> Thankfully I've never said anything stupid
[16:51]<@BC_Programming> I would have THOUGHT about it I guess
[16:51]<+Mulreay> What was the time stamp on my pizza delivery mnessage?
[16:51]<+Mulreay> Time escapes me
[16:51]<+camerongray> 21:27:48
[16:52]<+Mulreay> cool cheers
[16:52]<@BC_Programming> That's Scotland Time
[16:52]<+camerongray> lol
[16:52]<+Mulreay> Will take the laptop downstairs and continue the conversation.
[16:52]<+camerongray> Just like our scary Scottish money according to the English :P
[16:52]<+Mulreay> ?????
[16:52]<@BC_Programming> Any money from another country will look funny
[16:52]<+Mulreay> What scary money?
[16:53]<+camerongray> You've never had the fun of trying to use a Scottish bank note in certain places in England
[16:53]<@BC_Programming> Or even when your normal money get's new bills
[16:53]<+camerongray> Lots of places outright refuse it, it's mental!
[16:53]<@BC_Programming> what about Canadian Money?
[16:53]<+camerongray> lol, at least that's actually a different currency
[16:53]<+Mulreay> Had the same problem myself, trying to explain 'sterling' to some retard in pound stretcher
[16:54]<@BC_Programming> yeah but the queen is still on it
[16:54]<+camerongray> lol
[16:54]<+Mulreay> Not sterling though BC_Programming
[16:54]<+camerongray> Mulreay: I presume you saw the Olympic opening ceremony?
[16:54]<@BC_Programming> It's backed by our treasury of Maple syrup
[16:54]<+camerongray> I loved the Queen's face when they screwed up the batton
[16:54]<+Mulreay> I did camerongray
[16:54]<+camerongray> baton*
[16:55]<+camerongray> She almost smiled at one point though which amazed me, never seen that before
[16:55]<+Mulreay> Proper F'up camerongray it was funny
[16:55]<@BC_Programming> At least we've finally moved forward with polymer banknotes
[16:55]<+Mulreay> Yeah the Queen seemed to smirk a little
[16:56]<+camerongray> Ahh cool, wish we had them
[16:56]<+Mulreay> We will stick with cotton thank you very much you colonial dog
[16:57]<@BC_Programming> I thought the United States was the only one still using Rag Money
[16:57]<@BC_Programming> that's what I'm going to call it now
[16:58]<+Mulreay> My evil twin is joining aka laptop

[17:00]<Tux2> lol, pizza deliver woes huh?
[17:00]<Tux2> delivery*
[17:01]<Tux2> If your pizza is taking over an hour to deliver either: A) stop ordering at peak times, B) they need to hire more people
[17:02]<Tux2> C) B is never going to happen because they like their margins.
[17:18]<+PixelsintheBlood> A: Well if dinner time is 'peak' then I'm out of luck. I could order for breakfast but then I would just be hungry, I suppose it's peak for a reason. B: I would tell them to hire more people but that would seem very rude and would probably result in a spit born pizza, also if taken and implemented the company would most likely go out of business and my pizza spitworthy or otherwise would no

[17:41]<@BC_Programming> I see you got Grease with a side of Pizza
[17:42]<+Mulreay> lol, it keeps your fingers moving, last thing you want is to get stuck to the cardboard
[17:45]<+camerongray> lol
[17:49]<+Mulreay> Facebook 'I got 130 in an IQ test in your face' http://www.bodaciouz.com/q/iq_test/index.php?lang=en&ad_lang=en&id_1=10&id_2=2 I would probably drop a few points by replying
[17:49]<+camerongray> haha
[17:51]<+Mulreay> I do have some friends from high school on the lower end of the common sense scale who constantly try to make out they are clever/smart/can spell smart
[17:51]<+camerongray> Ahh yeah, I know that sort of person
[17:51]<+camerongray> For some reason I decided to do it
[17:52]<+camerongray> Guess the max is 130 since that's what you get for getting everything right
[17:52]<+camerongray> Although, trick questions are not an IQ test :P
[17:53]<+Mulreay> Get out camerongray, do not pass go do not collect £200.. straight to a cage hidden in a hole that has been covered over with concrete
[17:53]<+camerongray> lol
[17:53]<+Mulreay> I used to think so much of you and yet you throw it in my face
[17:54]<+camerongray> lol
[17:54]<+camerongray> I don't belive those :P
[17:54]<+camerongray> I'm nowhere near 130 IQ
[17:55]<+Mulreay> If I beleaved a facebook 'test' I would be in Mensa
[17:55]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:55]<+Mulreay> Saying that Mensa is kinda a joke these days
[17:56]<+camerongray> I've never looked into it
[17:56]<+camerongray> I don't think I'd enjoy being in a big group of people discussing how smart we all are though :P
[17:56]<+Mulreay> Top 1% of the intelligent people blah blah blah.. but the smartest people are not members
[17:57]<+camerongray> Yeah, you can't accurately measure intelligence
[17:57]<+camerongray> Like, intelligence in what?
[17:57]<+Mulreay> We sit here camerongray and discuss how much we know about computers..
[17:58]<+Mulreay> <+camerongray> Like, intelligence in what? EXACTLY
[17:58]<+camerongray> I'm pretty good with computery things but my memory is terrible and I do my fair share of stupid stuff :P
[17:59]<+Mulreay> Stephen Fry (love that guy) said that exams and tests of intelligence are all wrong as it's not a test of knowledge but a test of memory
[18:00]<+camerongray> Yeah
[18:02]<+Mulreay> I have a crap memory but I nbet I can outwhit a cambridge graduate when it comes to building a space ship in 'space engineers'. He could tell me the exact quotation for the heisenberg uncertainty principle but it wont have any real worl application
[18:05]<+Mulreay> I'm not against people that are book smart but like I said to one of my ex's (super smart at uni, she used to teach classes when the teacher had to go and do something) she had 0 common sense.
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> hmm seems I'm running out of Memory
[18:07]<+Mulreay> Well you have an eidetic memory so you were just born a cheat
[18:07]<@BC_Programming> well I meant my PC
[18:07]<+Mulreay> I know just couldn't resist
[18:08]<+Mulreay> What memory do you have?
[18:08]<@BC_Programming> 16GB
[18:08]<+Mulreay> leak?
[18:08]<@BC_Programming> it was at 98% used
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> weird thing is the processes I have running aren't even close to that much
[18:09]<+Mulreay> Does it happen after a restart?
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> I'm not restarting
[18:10]<@BC_Programming> 43 days uptime :D
[18:10]<+Mulreay> lol
[18:11]<+Mulreay> I would say 'well thats your problem' but I will leave that to CH 'experts'
[18:11]<@BC_Programming> down to 9.5GB used
[18:11]<+Mulreay> What programmes are you running?
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> something is using 100% of my secondary drive
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> interesting
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> "System" is writing 2MB a second
[18:12]<+Mulreay> wow that's a lot, but you klnow that
[18:13]<+Mulreay> Whats on the sec drive?
[18:14]<@BC_Programming> Data
[18:14]<@BC_Programming> It has stopped now
[18:14]<+Mulreay> Just being nosey

[23:26]<@BC_Programming> Just respond with like "Thanks for watching!"

[23:45]<Craig> Hahahahah
[23:46]<Craig> Actually, Veronika just came home, and she is super stressed about work, she hates being a field medic. I feel very sad for her, cause she may have to do that more often than not... :( and thats not what she got hired for.
[23:47]<@BC_Programming> what is a field medic?
[23:47]<@BC_Programming> I mean a medic in the field yeah but is it like an EMT
[23:47]<+Mulreay> Or like a vet.. with cows and pigs and the such
[23:47]<Craig> As in She has her total of 7 years as an EMR/EMT now EMT-P, which is paramedic, being the most trained of all.
[23:48]<+Mulreay> Couldn't help it I'm soooooo sorry. Apologise to V for me
[23:48]<Craig> She got hired on as a Medical Coordinator, and is back to her EMT job sometimes.
[23:48]<Craig> No worries, I am sure she would find it funny, that is if she understands. :P
[23:48]<Craig> She's an Immagrant. :P
[23:48]<Craig> Immigrint?
[23:48]<+Mulreay> close
[23:48]<Craig> ... I am sure you know what word I mean.
[23:49]<@BC_Programming> Immigrant
[23:49]<+Mulreay> You Canadians and your silly ways
[23:50]<+Mulreay> Hate Canada

[23:50]<+Mulreay> did I just type that outloud
[23:50]<Craig> :P
[23:51]<Craig> She is most frustrated about finally getting her Paramedics licence and no one will hire her still, or worse yet, not even 1 interview.
