[10:19]<+camerongray> Hey Mulreay & Craig
[10:38]<@Mulreay> hey camerongray
[10:48]<+camerongray> Just saw the beginning of a beautiful, trusting relationship in CH
[10:48]<+camerongray> [17:36:40] <guest_40> okie please if there is some real hacker here please help me.i have a girlfriend and i need to check on her gmail account, she hasnt given me her password but ive given her mine so its not fair.she playin an unfair game wid me.i have tried many softwares which i think are all scams.please if anyone knows of a way please do it for me
[10:48]<@Mulreay> wow
[10:49]<+camerongray> I mean, fine share stuff if you want, but it's not your right to know it!
[10:50]<+camerongray> I certainly wouldn't demand or give away my passwords
[10:50]<+camerongray> "Today on the Jeremy Kyle show..."
[10:50]<@Mulreay> Never given a password to anyone.. never will. Except pottsi and jacky but that was for bots on here and there not passwords for anywhere else
[10:51]<+camerongray> Yeah, same
[10:51]<+camerongray> Everyone knows the lock pattern on my phone :P
[10:51]<+camerongray> But that's not a big deal, I know theirs too
[10:51]<@Mulreay> Mine is a M
[10:51]<+camerongray> Ahh
[10:51]<+camerongray> Mine is like a 7
[10:51]<@Mulreay> but with a twist
[10:51]<+camerongray> Top row, down to middle, then to middle of bottom row
[10:52]<+camerongray> Friends borrow my phone to see if they can remember it :P
[10:52]<@Mulreay> heh
[10:52]<+camerongray> But I would never give out my email password
[10:52]<+camerongray> What's next, PIN Number?
[10:53]<@Mulreay> My M is written backwards so I tell people 'it's an M' they try and do it the way you would write it
[10:55]<+camerongray> Ahh! That's clever!
[10:55]<+camerongray> I should do that with mine :P
[10:55]<@Mulreay> heh
[10:59]<@Mulreay> Vegas Pro 12 is sooooooo good, I especially liked the price.
[11:04]<@Mulreay> heh
[11:11]<+Craig> Hey Mulreay, camerongray and BC_Programming
[11:11]<+Craig> Hey guys check this out, https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=203376033615947802797.0004df34690fa52231228
[11:11]<+camerongray> Nice!
[11:11]<@BC_Programming> Craig: LOL!
[11:12]<@BC_Programming> I like the path
[11:12]<+camerongray> I should actually do that one day
[11:12]<+camerongray> Would be awful boring
[11:12]<@BC_Programming> "you must go all the way over here first"
[11:12]<+Craig> Hahahah
[11:12]<@BC_Programming> It's funny when Google maps suggests an overseas trip to go to the shops too
[11:12]<+Craig> What would be boring there camerongray
[11:13]<@BC_Programming> Oh wait
[11:13]<@BC_Programming> is this not a route thing
[11:13]<@BC_Programming> I'm confused
[11:13]<+Craig> No, I went for a bike ride. :P
[11:13]<@BC_Programming> o
[11:13]<+Craig> Its a track that I went using GPS to follow
[11:13]<@BC_Programming> well that makes more sense then
[11:13]<+Craig> my top speed on my bike was 44Km/h
[11:26]<@Mulreay> Craig just went live everybody!!!!!
[11:26]<@BC_Programming> "I can't go slower than 40km/h or the bike will explode"
[11:27]<@Mulreay> Call it 'slow'
[11:28]<@BC_Programming> Actually I think you could just jump off it backwards then run like heck
[11:36]<+Craig> hahahahaha
[11:36]<+Craig> Thanks Mulreay
[11:36]<+Craig> :)
[11:42]<@Mulreay> Hello there I am so happy I found your website, I really found you by accident, while
[11:42]<@Mulreay> I was searching on Askjeeve for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say thanks a lot for a fantastic post and
[11:42]<@Mulreay> a all round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design), I dont have time
[11:42]<@Mulreay> to look over it all at the minute but I have book-marked it and also added your RSS feeds,
[11:42]<@Mulreay> so when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please
[11:42]<@Mulreay> do keep up the awesome b.
[11:42]<+Craig> Cool,
[11:42]<+Craig> are they spammers?
[11:42]<@Mulreay> yep
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> yeah that looks like a spammer sadly, though it depends on their name
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> if it's "Free Medical Supplies" for example
[11:44]<@Mulreay> Well I don't have an RSS feed so that was clue 1
[11:44]<@Mulreay> And clue 2 was only spammers talk like that
[11:45]<@Mulreay> Real people say things like 'your site is <censored> and I want to <censored> your mother whilst your dad watches.
[11:47]<@Mulreay> I REALLY hope that was flagged by ChanbotVII if not I apologise for the swearing

[12:25]<@Mulreay> <aeyk> in C can you call ptrs to functions by (void)(*function)(args)? if not what is the syntax
[12:25]<@Mulreay> No idea
[12:33]<@Mulreay> haha BC_Programming you will like this
[12:34]<@Mulreay> http://twtrland.com/profile/mulreay look at the videos part
[12:36]<@BC_Programming> I can't find it
[12:36]<@BC_Programming> oh there it is
[12:36]<@BC_Programming> lol
[12:36]<@Mulreay> Just after lol
[12:36]<@Mulreay> haha so cool
[12:37]<@BC_Programming> there was a guy you did a full cover of that song
[12:38]<@Mulreay> I think it's because I watched it so much and showed it to my Mum
[12:39]<@BC_Programming> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzsRV2HJb-I SO BRAVE
[12:41]<@Mulreay> Very cool
[12:45] * pottsi (Mibbit@pottsi.staff.mibbit.net) has joined #glitchpc
[12:45] * ChanbotVII sets mode: +v pottsi
[12:46]<@Mulreay> OK watched it two times in a row will watch again later
[12:46]<@BC_Programming> Here's another lol
[12:46]<@BC_Programming> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yP2VjSpSpx0
[12:47]<@BC_Programming> he had to overlay TWO separate recordings that one must have taken some work
[12:53]<@Mulreay> Yeah, good job
[12:53]<@BC_Programming> I have some of his tracks on my playlist and MP3 player
[12:54]<@BC_Programming> you know to mix it up with the originals lol
[12:54]<Tux2> lol
[12:54]<Tux2> BC_Programming, Mulreay, mind voting on my server? http://www.planetminecraft.com/server/epicminecrafter-aether-ii-server/
[12:55]<@BC_Programming> Sure Tux
[12:55]<@BC_Programming> oh I've been testing GP out in MCPC
[12:55]<Tux2> Oh? Cool
[12:55]<@BC_Programming> Made some changes so now almost everything is protected Out of the Box on it, too
[12:55]<Tux2> What about bukkitforge?
[12:55]<@BC_Programming> it looks for a Forge config folder and tries to read IDs from them
[12:56]<@BC_Programming> Bukkitforge is ridiculously broken
[12:56]<Tux2> :)
[12:56]<Tux2> lol, yeah, it is...
[12:56]<@BC_Programming> Bukkitforge never fires about half the events, the other half send in a null event sometimes or have an event with fields that are null...
[12:56]<Tux2> That's what I'm using on my Aether servers
[12:56]<@BC_Programming> I tried to put Aether II on MCPC.... didn't work lol
[12:57]<@Mulreay> Voted, but I'm not happy about having a test
[12:57]<Tux2> lol, right? That's why I'm using bukkitforge
[12:57]<Tux2> having a test?
[12:57]<@BC_Programming> Oh! Also one big issue with bukkitforge
[12:58]<@BC_Programming> the onPlayerInteract() event sends in a location of 0,0 when you click on modded blocks
[12:58]<Tux2> With MCPC it has issues with votifier and not receiving votes
[12:58]<Tux2> lol, wow BC_Programming
[12:58]<@BC_Programming> that's why there are so many weird problems with GP, on the aether server I had to put down vanilla logs to get a claim in the aether lol
[12:58]<Tux2> I really want to get everything native to forge
[12:59]<Tux2> that way I don't have to rely on bukkitforge
[13:00]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[13:00]<Tux2> BC_Programming: is GP ready for a release yet?
[13:00]<Tux2> I want to get it ported to forge and canary next
[13:00]<@BC_Programming> I'm documenting the cfg atm
[13:00]<Tux2> Awesome
[13:00]<Tux2> You should be getting points off of it, right?
[13:01]<@BC_Programming> I think I'm getting a few yeah
[13:03]<@BC_Programming> hmm can't seem to find a machine that GP will let me use inside an unowned claim now yay
[13:03]<@BC_Programming> Pulverizer? No perm. Auto-crafting table? No perm. Ender Tank? No perm
[13:03]<@BC_Programming> And without messing with the config to add ids :D
[13:08] * Erlend (erlend@mib-22560C4D.cable.starman.ee) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
[13:09]<@BC_Programming> Sadly BuildCraft Quarry's don't fire ANY events at all, that makes me sad
[13:12]<Tux2> heh, yeah
[13:12]<Tux2> So the aether mod doesn't work with mcpc for 1.5.1 at all?
[13:12]<@BC_Programming> I wasn't able to get it working
[13:13]<@BC_Programming> It could be that I installed it wrong, also MCPC 1.5.1 seemed to have a lot of issues, since Aether wasn't the only mod that refused to load- I think it was an obfuscation issue
[13:14]<Tux2> Ah...
[13:15]<@BC_Programming> Could be I also installed the prerequisites wrong as well, considering I hadn't really dealt with mods and injecting stuff into jars since 1.7.3 Beta that wouldn't be surprising either lol
[13:15]<Tux2> lol, I'm just hoping it will all work when they update to 1.5.2
[13:16]<@BC_Programming> but when Aether II works on MCPC the GP should now magically protect skyroot chests and treasure chests inside of claims :D
[13:16]<@BC_Programming> Why configure GP when GP can find your configs and figure out the Container IDs itself? :P
[13:16]<Tux2> :)
[13:16]<Tux2> I manually configured GP to protect them
[13:17]<@BC_Programming> though there are some caveats, didn't work to automatically protect EnderChests from the EnderChests mod
[13:17]<Tux2> I forgot I did that and tried to open someone's skyroot chest and it denied me
[13:17]<Tux2> ah...
[13:17]<@BC_Programming> the config scan looks for a "block { " section, and then finds items named that match a regex
[13:18]<Tux2> nice
[13:18]<@BC_Programming> but enderchests mod uses a generic name for it's block ID for some reason
[13:18]<@BC_Programming> the regex is configurable too :D
[13:19]<@BC_Programming> right now I have it basically looking for anything with the word chest in it, or a word ending in chest, grinder, industrial, centrifuge, words ending in izer, and so on
[13:20]<@BC_Programming> pretty much everything in IC2, Thermal Expansion, and some other big mods are protected, but I'm still refining the default regex
[13:22]<@BC_Programming> Also want to avoid false positives on blocks- false positives on items don't seem to matter, it keeps finding the ThaumCraft Thaumium chestplate item and tagging it as a container but I don't think that will do anything since no container will ever test positive for that material
[13:26]<@BC_Programming> Right now I'm thinking it could search when the cfg is set to search, but once it does it saves the results of the search to the configuration in the "current" format, that way an admin could set it to true to re-tally the current setup and them remove false positives or add missed machines and whatnot
[13:27]<Tux2> Yeah, that would probably be best
[13:33]<+Craig> How do you put GP on Feed the beast? Is it a core mod, or a mod?
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> Neither
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> it's a bukkit mod so you can't install it on FTB unless you replace the server with Server that supports the Bukkit API such as MCPC
[13:34]<+Craig> Awe...
[13:46]<@BC_Programming> Oh Craig did you hear
[13:46]<@BC_Programming> apparently I won something
[13:46]<+Craig> Oh?
[13:46]<@BC_Programming> in an MS/MVP contest
[13:46]<+Craig> Nice, what did you win?
[13:46]<@BC_Programming> Fedex failed deliver notice yesterday :P
[13:46]<@BC_Programming> I don't know exactly what it is
[13:47]<@BC_Programming> it's either a Mouse, a keyboard, a webcam, Retail Office 2013 Pro, Retail Windows 8, or an XBox 360
[13:47]<@BC_Programming> Fedex says it's a pound so I don't think it's the Xbox lol
[13:47]<+Craig> :P hahahaha yeah
[13:48]<@BC_Programming> or it could be a useless XBox Live subscription
[13:48]<@BC_Programming> but I would hope the packaging for that wouldn't be a pound
[13:49]<@Mulreay> Yeah I've used 'pounds' there only good in the hundreds
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> Office 2013 would be sweet
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> because I could sell it for like ~400
[13:51]<@Mulreay> heh
[13:52]<@BC_Programming> Well it's not much use to me since I already have Office 2013 Pro
[13:52]<@Mulreay> You will do well
[13:57]<@BC_Programming> oh Survival Chests you poor forgotten Plugin :(
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> Type Erasure is like my nemesis
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> if I was a superhero I'd be like
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "Oh no, Type Erasure has prevented me from overloading from these base classes while also adding functionality that uses the same generic methods"
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "OH THE HUMANITY! Won't somebody stop type erasure"
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> Oh funny story you'll like this
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> PCDoc joined the channel and decided that was a good time to annoy with a PM out of nowhere
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> shall I share?
[14:42]<@BC_Programming> hmm
[14:42]<@BC_Programming> No chanbot would kick me for swearing if I did
[14:45]<+camerongray> lol
[14:45]<+camerongray> Please share
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> hmm I'll censor it
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> anyway seconds after he came back he started with
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> <PCdoc> hey man, u cant even take a joke that u kept urself away from ur own channel?
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:37] <BC_Programming> I don't own the channel dipshit
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:38] <PCdoc> what eva... but u left because u couldnt take that joke?
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:38] <PCdoc> i never thought wld become so serious
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:39] <BC_Programming> I left for my own reasons, which aren't entirely relevant and not necessarily related to anything that was happening in IRC at the time. if you want to make something of it, I can puff!
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:39] <BC_Programming> But you couldn't leave it alone, could you? No. moment you join back, BAM... PM Would you have preferred I kick you? I thought I took the better route by just leaving instead. It's you still making this an issue- not me.
[14:48]<@BC_Programming> [23:39] <PCdoc> whhat makes u so rude suddenly?
[14:49]<@BC_Programming> I like the last one
[14:50]<@BC_Programming> If he had mentioned the same thing in the channel I would have been more civil :P
[14:50]<@BC_Programming> but unsolicited PM? THE GLOVES ARE OFF MAN, and my hands are cold
[14:52]<+camerongray> lol
[14:52]<+camerongray> I wonder if he'll be back
[14:52]<@BC_Programming> I dunno

[15:00]<+camerongray> I was in 3 calls last week at work, and did I announce any of them?
[15:00]<@BC_Programming> no because you don't usually have time to announce them anyway
[15:00]<+camerongray> True
[15:01]<@BC_Programming> db has time because they are probably fictitious
[15:01]<+camerongray> It could be a scheduled confrence call like I had but even then...
[15:01]<@BC_Programming> Jacky mentions it too but it's never specific because the point is to let people know they might not respond as quickly and stuff
[15:01]<+camerongray> And when the phone on my desk goes I certainly don't have enough time - Need to clear my mouth, find the phone under a pile of stuff then figure out how to answer it
[15:02]<@BC_Programming> Then again when you work in a place where forklifts can drive over exposed network cables outside, who knows
[15:02]<+camerongray> lol
[15:02]<+camerongray> Nowadays, wouldn't you use a Point-to-Point wireless link anyway?
[15:02]<@BC_Programming> I don't know what they use today, but I think we can safely say that it wouldn't be anything db would describe
[15:03]<@BC_Programming> There isn't enough windows workspace in the entire world to hold his BS
[15:03]<+camerongray> lol, my friend is moving into a flat and just realised he can only get DSL, he's now trying to work out how to set up a point to point link between our flats so he can get a fast connection :P
[15:04]<+camerongray> So far he's on the idea of mounting something to his friend's roof to repeat the signal, oddly it looks like it would owrk
[15:04]<+camerongray> work*
[15:04]<@BC_Programming> DSL is pretty fast
[15:05]<+camerongray> True, but we want 100mbps :P
[15:05]<@BC_Programming> o
[15:05]<+camerongray> Now he's considering getting a pair of DSL lines and load balancing them
[15:05]<+camerongray> Although, the wireless link would certainly be a conversation starter
[15:08]<@Mulreay> 'Learn to say Z, you sound weird, it's ZEE not ZED' my oh my you have to love YouTube
[15:08]<+camerongray> hahaha!
[15:09]<@BC_Programming> ZED
[15:09]<@BC_Programming> It is ZED!
[15:09]<@BC_Programming> But I do like the culturally ignorant
[15:09]<@BC_Programming> "omg you call it Pop instead of Soda death to you and your kind"
[15:10]<@BC_Programming> I like to use UK/CAN English spellings in source code too, confuse people
[15:10]<@BC_Programming> getColour() versus getColor()
[15:11]<@Mulreay> Not said 'pop' in a long time... haha talk about a blast from the past
[15:11]<@BC_Programming> sendAuthorisationRequest() versus sendAuthorizationRequest()
[15:11]<+camerongray> Oooh, is Canadian English more like UK English?
[15:11]<@Mulreay> But yes pop over soda all day
[15:12]<@Mulreay> yes camerongray
[15:12]<@BC_Programming> camerongray: yes
[15:12]<@BC_Programming> tbh I seem to prefer the zed words
[15:12]<@Mulreay> You know, actual english
[15:12]<+camerongray> Nice, so do you say crisps or chips when referring to crispy potato snacks?
[15:13]<@BC_Programming> chips
[15:13]<+camerongray> So close!
[15:13]<@BC_Programming> then again that word applies for french fries as well
[15:13]<@BC_Programming> causing confusion
[15:14]<+camerongray> Ahh
[15:14]<@BC_Programming> That was the primary platform of the latest Canadian party campaign
[15:14]<@BC_Programming> "we will remove word ambiguity"
[15:14]<@BC_Programming> "Also we will give everybody a hockey stick and a Tim Card"
[15:14]<+camerongray> lol
[15:14]<+camerongray> Sounds like the SNP
[15:15]<+camerongray> Some of their activists are so annoying!
[15:15]<@Mulreay> It could be worse BC_Programming could be French canadian then we would have to deal with him running away after every argument
[15:15]<@BC_Programming> That's not true
[15:15]<@BC_Programming> that's crazy
[15:15]<@BC_Programming> that's it I'm leaving
[15:15]<+camerongray> lol
[15:16]<+camerongray> This SNP guy drives me mad, every tweet he sends is pro independance
[15:16]<+camerongray> Or "indie" as he calls it
[15:16]<@BC_Programming> lol
[15:16]<+camerongray> Oh and if you do anything Scottish incorrectly he goes mad
[15:16]<@BC_Programming> "We want scotland to be like Minecraft: Indie and full of blockheads"
[15:16]<+camerongray> "What do you mean you ate haggis the day after burns night"
[15:17]<@BC_Programming> Nationalism of any sort is annoying IMO
[15:17]<+camerongray> This is the worst though!
[15:17]<@BC_Programming> the most common is Americans who have never even left the U.S saying "America is the best place to live in the world" I mean, come on. You can't declare that
[15:18]<+camerongray> lol
[15:18]<@Mulreay> I would love to give my opinion on the SNP camerongray but then I would be racist or something.. or pro English or some other stuoidity
[15:18]<+camerongray> There was a form that we had to fill in at uni, one option was "British (Scotland)" he scored it out and wrote "Scottish"
[15:19]<+camerongray> Then at a Ceilidh I got a lecture that my sporran was formal but my shirt was casual and it was bad and I should be ashamed :P
[15:19]<@BC_Programming> Nothing like identifying yourself with the arbitrary set of political borders within which you were born
[15:19]<+camerongray> Although, I pointed out he wasn't wearing a kilt at all, that shut him up! :P
[15:19]<@Mulreay> lol camerongray
[15:20]<+camerongray> He was telling me I should have both a formal and casual sporran, when was the last time he looked at prices!
[15:20]<+camerongray> I acually can't find a non SNP related tweet on his account!
[15:20]<@BC_Programming> I dunno but it sounds like he isn't the victim of physical violence as frequently as he needs to be
[15:21]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:21]<@BC_Programming> I like how I said "he needs to be punched in the face" in a fancy way
[15:21]<@Mulreay> The problem with the SNP is not that they want 'independance' but that a guy wants a legacy as the guy that 'made Scotland independant'.
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> the odd bit is that I have no doubt they want something like Quebec wanted
[15:22]<+camerongray> And their reps are annoying me :P
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> They wanted to be completely independent but Canada would still send them Federal Funds
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> Like uh no
[15:22]<+camerongray> Had fun recently - I do IT for a youth club and they had got me to set up a bunch of screens with slideshows - SNP guy comes along, moves our table back and puts his in front!
[15:23]<@Mulreay> wow
[15:23]<@BC_Programming> if you don't want to be part of Canada, be your own country, but if you aren't part of Canada, why would you be entitled to the tax revenue from the rest of Canada
[15:23]<+camerongray> This table he moved with probably at least £3000 worth of stuff on/under it (My entire desktop and 4 monitors)
[15:23]<+camerongray> It was at a sort of community fun day
[15:24]<+camerongray> It took the management of the event (My friends) and the owner of the youth club 15mins to get him to move!
[15:24]<@BC_Programming> It's weird seeing some products from the US because they only have english on them usually
[15:24]<@Mulreay> The other sad thing is that the SNP think if they leave GB they won't have any of the debt... like come on guys do you realy thing that will happen?
[15:24]<@BC_Programming> whereas stuff here has to by law have both english and french
[15:25]<@BC_Programming> In fact I think the only reason I have any french understanding is because of trying to read the wrong side of a product
[15:25]<@BC_Programming> "buerre d' Arachides" ... oh Peanut butter
[15:25]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:26]<@BC_Programming> Or maybe I just said Peanut Donkey I don't know
[15:26]<+camerongray> Since when were informatics students meant to be into politics anyway!
[15:26]<+camerongray> We need to go back to laptop related arguments
[15:26]<@Mulreay> To be fair I can't see the vote going to the SNP but we will see.
[15:26]<+camerongray> Which was more ThinkPad users judging others
[15:26]<+camerongray> Nah, I can't either
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> Politicians work in one way
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> They promise things
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> "We will build this bridge, it will be glorious"
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> "hundreds of cars will drive over it"
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> "it will become a landmark"
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> But there is no river. And no reason to build a bridge
[15:28]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:28]<+camerongray> We're getting a new bridge :P
[15:28]<@BC_Programming> That is, they promise to build bridges even when there is no river
[15:28]<@BC_Programming> well I was speaking part-metaphorically really
[15:28]<+camerongray> lol, they are having a vote for the name at the moment
[15:28]<@BC_Programming> those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber
[15:29]<@Mulreay> You were speaking what? Keep that stuff to yourself you fancy word weirdo
[15:29]<+camerongray> There is a bridge in Glasgow that is known as the "Squinty Bridge" :P
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> I wonder if maybe people like your friend are what inspired the name for the "No True Scotsman" Fallacy
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> eg. "No Scotsman would ever wear a Casual shirt with a Formal Dress wear"
[15:30]<+camerongray> Oh, he went off on one about that as well
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> "But camerongray is a scot"
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> "oh but he's not a TRUE scot"
[15:31]<+camerongray> lol, by the meaning of "True scot" I'm thankfully not :P
[15:31]<+camerongray> He ranted about that as well!
[15:31]<@BC_Programming> it's really just whether you are born there I would imagine
[15:32]<+camerongray> Oh, not that meaning :P - More related to what is worn with a kilt :P
[15:32]<@BC_Programming> yeah exactly- No true scotsman fallacy
[15:32]<@Mulreay> lol, fallacy
[15:32]<@Mulreay> to wit fallace
[15:32]<+camerongray> It's funny, the actual tartan authority is on my side but he still thinks he's right!
[15:33]<@BC_Programming> It's like if I said, "No Canadian ever eats Bacon without Eggs"
[15:33]<@BC_Programming> and somebody said "my friend Paul eats Bacon with hashbrowns"
[15:33]<@BC_Programming> "well he's not a TRUE Canadian then"
[15:33]<+camerongray> Surely the idea of casual means not to wear stuff adhering to rules!
[15:34]<@Mulreay> camerongray tell your friend that tartan was invented by the English
[15:34]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:34]<@BC_Programming> sounds like an overly nationalistic doucheweasel
[15:34]<@BC_Programming> I mean sure, Scotland gave us Golf and A setting for the Movie Highlander but what else?
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> I'd say "eating sheep guts in a bag" but I don't think that really bests Japan
[15:35]<+camerongray> Yeah, he was like "If you aren't wearing a jacket you need a semi-dress sporran" You know, the thing that would cost £150
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> And for all the things a person has contributed, they are building upon what others did before them anyway
[15:35]<+camerongray> "Casual" should not cost £150!
[15:36]<@BC_Programming> eg. if a Scotsman or a Canadian comes up with some new super-awesome site that everybody uses, he would still be building upon all the work of people who worked on things like PHP, HTTP, etc. One does not contribute to society from a vacuum, because those are dusty and bad for the lungs
[15:36]<+camerongray> Yeah
[15:36]<+camerongray> It's funny since even others that like the SNP get annoyed at this guy
[15:37]<@BC_Programming> let's take a moment to appreciate my joke about vacuums please
[15:37]<+camerongray> lol
[15:37]<@Mulreay> I think the SNP is like the massively inaccurate comedy film 'Braveheart'. They try there hardest to show why they hate us but in no actual reality did we deserve the hate that they want.
[15:37]<+camerongray> lol
[15:38]<+camerongray> We still hate you, we just don't want independance!
[15:38]<+camerongray> jk
[15:38]<@Mulreay> lol
[15:38]<@Mulreay> touche
[15:38]<@BC_Programming> Like fundamentalist Christians from the bible belt V. Atheists
[15:38]<@BC_Programming> You'd think they held baby-eating contests
[15:39]<@Mulreay> camerongray hates the English.. I won't sleep tonight
[15:39]<+camerongray> hehehe
[15:39]<@Mulreay> and I mean that
[15:39]<+camerongray> Oh yeah, forgot about that one...
[15:40]<+camerongray> There's one English guy at uni who hates scotland and everything about it - I mean, he's only lived here half his life
[15:40]<+camerongray> Said the words "Why would you want to wear a skirt anyway" in front of mr SNP
[15:40]<@Mulreay> There is a retard in every village my friend
[15:40]<+camerongray> He exploded!
[15:41]<@BC_Programming> did he present well-reasoned arguments to wear a dress?
[15:42]<+camerongray> lol
[15:42]<@BC_Programming> "It's not a dress, it's called a Kilt"
[15:42]<+camerongray> He even went mad at a hungarian guy who asked if I'd be "wearing my err... how you say... skirt?" - He didn't know the bloody name! Wasn't trying to be offensive!
[15:42]<@BC_Programming> "well, you're name is X, but I'm still going to call you A-hole..."
[15:42]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:43]<@Mulreay> Personnaly I think the UK will carry on despite the stupidity of the SNP
[15:44]<@Mulreay> And then we will take over Canada for funzees
[15:44]<+camerongray> Yeah
[15:44]<+camerongray> Most people I know don't support them
[15:45]<+camerongray> Apart from one guy at uni - He's lived in Scotland for less than a year!
[15:45]<@Mulreay> I think the SNP are like the EDL here in how we feel
[15:45]<+camerongray> hehehe, "muslamic ray guns"
[15:45]<+camerongray> I showed my friend that, never seen someone laugh like that
[15:50]<@BC_Programming> now for some more MCPC testing to see if my latest changes worked
[15:51]<@BC_Programming> hmm since I started helping with it GriefPrevention's .jar file has doubled in size
[15:52]<@BC_Programming> not sure if that is good or bad lol
[15:53]<@Mulreay> Downloading a film at 4.6mb/s sweet
[15:53]<+camerongray> Ever wondered what happens when you drop an exercise weight on a laptop?
[15:53]<+camerongray> http://imagebin.org/261507
[15:54]<@Mulreay> Nothing that if you could see what my foot did about 5yrs ago
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> That image makes me have a sad
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> The laptop came out of the factory
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> bushy tailed
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> ready to make a person's life a little easier, help them in moving forward
[15:56]<@BC_Programming> only to be abused by their penchant for dropping things
[15:56]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:56]<+camerongray> You should love me then!
[15:56]<+camerongray> I paid him some money, took the laptop home and now I'm going to lovingly fix it and sell it on to a good home
[15:56]<+camerongray> Just like a dog shelter
[15:56]<+camerongray> Well, except for the replacing parts bit
[15:56]<@BC_Programming> quite
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> It's probably good that I don't have money these days, back when I did I would buy a bunch of trash I would never use
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> "Oh a CD Burner... I don't need one but it's 10 dollars"
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> well this was back when they were usually more like 40
[15:58]<@BC_Programming> now you can probably get a CD burner at a 99p store
[15:58]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:58]<+camerongray> I made £85 profit alone off the last one
[15:58]<@BC_Programming> cool
[16:01]<@BC_Programming> OMG
[16:01]<@BC_Programming> I just had a crazy idea for GP
[16:01]<@BC_Programming> instead of doing /trust and /accesstrust and stuff
[16:01]<@BC_Programming> have an option so that if you smack a person with certain items they get trust in the claim you are in if you own it
[16:02]<@BC_Programming> "I want you to have trust, come here and let me smack you with my gold shovel plz"
[16:02]<@BC_Programming> "let me beat you with this rose, so you can have container trust"
[16:02]<@BC_Programming> etc.
[16:13]<@BC_Programming> what's the regex pattern for requiring the end of the match
[16:14]<@BC_Programming> it's \z

[18:13]<Tux2> lol BC_Programming, that would be hilarious
[18:13]<@BC_Programming> I like it, because it avoids slash commands
[18:13]<@BC_Programming> OTOH it could also be implemented with a separate plugin too
[18:14]<@BC_Programming> but then again so could the gold shovel interaction stuff
