[17:37]<@Mulreay> Not allowed to join a group as I'm too tall
[17:37]<@BC_Programming> Short people international?
[17:38]<@Mulreay> I'm being serious.. I need to be 4"10 not 5"2
[17:39]<@Mulreay> I'm not considered short by 'short' people unless I'm 4"10
[17:39]<@Mulreay> So I'm just short to tall people
[17:41]<@Mulreay> Shame I'm not black then I could make a point to people
[17:43]<@Mulreay> Little People UK
[17:43]<@Mulreay> @LPUKOnline
[17:43]<@Mulreay> @Mulreay
[17:43]<@Mulreay> sorry, the medical definition we use is an adult height of 4'10"
[17:44]<Lucifer> Ouch
[17:45]<Lucifer> Im a full foot taller than 4'10"
[17:46]<@Mulreay> Thats nothing to camerongray, BC_Programming and Craig there all tall people and I mean TALL
[17:46]<Craig> HAHAHAHAHA
[17:46]<Craig> I am a good 2 feet taller than that. :P Or close too. :P
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> so on the epic minecrafter server I had 2 stacks of diamond blocks from a worldedit bug ages ago
[17:47]<Craig> And?
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> not sure where they came from but I have like 7 stacks of diamond blocks now
[17:47]<Craig> Ouch, Diamond suits for all! :P
[17:48]<@BC_Programming> almost everything in the chests is doubled, and there are random blocks, and parts of my base reverted to what they were months ago
[17:48]<Craig> Interesting
[17:48]<@BC_Programming> Apparently the server was hacked, I think Tux's rollback may have affected other things
[17:49]<@Mulreay> Going to start a channel 'littlish people UK' I seem not to fit in anywhere
[17:51]<+camerongray> I'm probably 6ft or slow
[17:51]<+camerongray> so*
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> possibly both
[17:52]<+camerongray> hahaha!
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> :P
[17:52]<+camerongray> I did take a laptop apart because it wasn't turning on and turns out it wasn't plugged in, so yeah... slow
[17:53]<+camerongray> The wires were all tangles, I plugged the charger into the laptop then a DIFFERENT charger into the power strip :P
[18:12]<@Mulreay> Teenagers avoid your house getting smashed up when your parents are away by simply advertising your party on Google+
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> lol
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> Nobody will ever know!
[18:12]<@Mulreay> yep
[18:13]<+camerongray> hahaha!
[18:19]<Lucifer> Hm
[20:24] * Tux2 (Tux2@mib-FE215F70.rwl-wy.client.bresnan.net) has joined #glitchpc
[20:25]<Tux2> Hey BC_Programming
[20:25]<@BC_Programming> hey Tux
[20:26] * Kevin (Mibbit@mib-DEA9649.dhcp.aldl.mi.charter.com) has joined #glitchpc
[20:26]<Tux2> Sorry about the logblock restore messing up your base. I forgot about all the trouble you guys had
[20:26]<@BC_Programming> lol actually I thought it was hilarious
[20:27]<@BC_Programming> can always fix the oddities, was just a mystery until I saw the post
[20:27]<Tux2> lol, cool. ;) Enjoy the extra diamonds. I had a pretty good laugh at the pictures
[20:27]<@BC_Programming> I mean snow blocks! I never even placed snow blocks lol!
[20:27]<Tux2> lol... snow ball cannons anyone?
[20:28]<@BC_Programming> I like how I got unstackable items in stacks, heheh
[20:28]<Tux2> heh
[20:28]<@BC_Programming> I now have a stack of 32 iron doors for example
[20:28]<Tux2> :O
[20:28]<@BC_Programming> I had a chest with about that many iron doors and they like... combined... or something
[20:28]<Tux2> Heh\
[20:29]<@BC_Programming> same with saddles... have a stack of 64 ender pearls instead of four stacks, Random Anvils lying around on the floor, lol
[20:29]<Tux2> I'm thinking of adding a plugin which makes unstackable stuff stack for donators
[20:29]<@BC_Programming> that would be interesting
[20:30]<Tux2> lol, I guess I had the intended effect though as seeming to have OP armor to kisseria. ;)
[20:31]<Tux2> I basically wanted them to look like they had EVERYTHING, and it was all boss with high enchantments
[20:31]<@BC_Programming> but no protection :D
[20:31]<Tux2> Right, reason it had thorns
[20:32]<Tux2> I'll probably put it back in at thorns: 2
[20:32]<@BC_Programming> he got trapped inside my farm collection chute lol
[20:32]<Tux2> lol
[20:32]<Tux2> Kill the player, get the kryptonite stuff. ;)
[20:33]<Tux2> Just bring some instant health potions for yourself. ;)
[20:33]<@BC_Programming> yeah I broke a hole and tried to shoot them but that didn't work
[20:33]<@BC_Programming> OTOH they were stuck heheh
[20:33]<Tux2> ha ha!
[20:34]<@BC_Programming> and there are hoppers right underneath too, so if they die, hey cool free stuff
[20:34]<Tux2> :D
[20:35]<Tux2> I might even put thorns at 1, to make it something everyone wants to steal, so the donators will be walking around, get killed, go buy another set. Rinse, lather, repeat.
[20:35]<@BC_Programming> heheh
[20:36]<Tux2> When I added fly to pvp I made sure that you could shoot players that were flying
[20:37]<Tux2> To kind of even the score a bit
[20:38]<@BC_Programming> the rollback thing is just such an odd effect
[20:38]<Tux2> I know... probably a mixture of their stuff, and your stuff after the paste
[20:39]<@BC_Programming> yeah a lot of it was some old stuff, like the ender chest that Lilqbunny put down when them and james griefed it after it was first pasted
[20:43]<Tux2> Oh, BC_Programming, I had a brilliant idea. :D
[20:43]<@BC_Programming> oh?
[20:44]<Tux2> Well, griefer insurance on your server.
[20:45]<@BC_Programming> when you say "your" do you mean the generic "your" or literally the vanilla server that nobody plays, lol
[20:45]<Tux2> the generic your
[20:45]<@BC_Programming> thought so heh
[20:46]<@BC_Programming> new Gprotection feature or idea? or new plugin entirely
[20:46]<Tux2> New plugin entirely
[20:46]<@BC_Programming> you have to keep your grief insurance policies paid up heh
[20:47]<Tux2> here's the gist of it: You pay X dollars a month for offsite backups of your server and you also pay for "us" to protect your server.
[20:47]<Tux2> The plugin monitors player activity and chat logs to detect griefer like activity.
[20:48]<@BC_Programming> oooh cool
[20:49]<Tux2> Depending on your level of protection we either get a call on our cell phones (tier 3 subscribers), an email (tier 2 subscribers), or you can have an email sent to you when there is suspiscious activity going on on your server (tier 1 free plan).
[20:50]<Tux2> Each tier also has a pre-defined auto backup and space you can use for your backups
[20:50]<@BC_Programming> I guess the tricky part will be detecting griefer-like behaviour
[20:51]<Tux2> So, let's say a griefing team hits a tier 3 subscriber, or somehow hacks the server and gains access. Our automated system alerts us within 5 minutes. We jump on and through the plugin, ban the offenders and do a grief cleanup on the server.
[20:52]<Tux2> I've already got the algorithms I want to use. Destroying a wide range of blocks in a huge area, attempting to light fires everywhere, and basically stuff that normal players would never do
[20:53]<Tux2> as well as multiple attempts to run OP and admin only commands
[20:53]<Tux2> Thing is, the plugin would be undetectable, as it would be disguised as another plugin, and there would be no commands for it
[20:54]<Tux2> So the only way you would know that a server had it was if they said they had it
[20:54]<@BC_Programming> Or if you wanted to get fancy, it could use injection, and instead of being a separate jar, it would install by injecting itself into another plugin
[20:54]<@BC_Programming> like chosen at random type deal
[20:54]<Tux2> Oooh, fancy
[20:55]<Tux2> I'm thinking of having a list of plugins that you can inject it into
[20:55]<@BC_Programming> one startup it would be in worldedit, another it would be in GriefPrevention or something
[20:55]<Tux2> the injection would have to be done before installation on the actual server
[20:56]<Tux2> In order to keep a very low profile
[20:57]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[20:57]<Tux2> But could you think of it? Server admins would be freed of wondering if their server was going to be next on the griefer's hit list
[20:58]<Tux2> It would also be quite funny if team Avolition and the other griefing teams got messed over by this simple plugin that prevents them from going too far on a server.
[20:59]<@BC_Programming> yeah, that isn't to say there aren't of course a lot of tools at a server admins disposal, but they require user intervention and as we've seen they can have odd effects
[20:59]<Tux2> lol, yes, exactly
[20:59]<Tux2> But that means, if an admin isn't on, or someone that doesn't know how to deal with it, the server could become a graveyard in a very short time
[21:01]<@BC_Programming> hmm I should check all my furnaces... I just checked one and it has a stack of gold ore in the fuel slot for no reason
[21:01]<Tux2> lol
[21:01]<Tux2> We would basically use your tools, but we would be like the firefighters of minecraft.
[21:02]<Tux2> Stopping the griefing before it ruins your server, or your reputation.
[21:03]<Tux2> If you were on a server, and it was getting griefed, and about 5 minutes in a player comes on, bans all the griefers, and then starts magically cleaning up all the damage, etc. wouldn't that be something that would impress you as a player?
[21:04]<@BC_Programming> yeah that would be cool
[21:04]<Tux2> This player had just joined, never been on the server before, yet he just saved the day.
[21:04]<Tux2> To the players, that's how the service would look like
