[12:11]<@BC_Programming> dat govment is gunna give me my 800 dollars it is, mwa haha
[12:11]<@BC_Programming> ...once I figure out how to get it there
[12:14]<+Mulreay> Great news
[12:15]<@BC_Programming> hmm need one of those document envelopey things
[12:17]<@BC_Programming> why did I go to the trouble of actually completing the return and not send it
[12:17]<@BC_Programming> I think I did that twice, I have 2008's lying around here somewhere too
[12:26] * camerongray (camerongra@15CAAB7E.81ED1CD4.F8162901.IP) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
[12:26]<@BC_Programming> darn... was hoping I could file this return online, but seems you can only do this years tax return
[12:26]<@BC_Programming> and it's closed, so I couldn't do that anyway
[12:27]<+Mulreay> Do you have to do your own tax in Canada like in america?
[12:27]<@BC_Programming> well sort of
[12:27]<@BC_Programming> I don't think it's as complicated as there though
[12:28]<+Mulreay> That's weird to us Brits
[12:28]<+Mulreay> ALL our tax is done through the government
[12:28]<@BC_Programming> I don't think the UK has income tax, though, do you?
[12:28]<+Mulreay> Oh yeah... we have income tax and national insurance
[12:29]<@BC_Programming> well for us the income tax is basically just "borrowed" from us, and we are supposed to get it back in some cases
[12:29]<+Mulreay> National Insurance or the NI is done through our wages as well as income tax... NI pays for our hospitals and the such
[12:29]<@BC_Programming> for this one they owe me 823.50 that I overpaid
[12:30]<+Mulreay> sweet
[12:31]<+Mulreay> I once had a tax rebate for just over £600 as I was on 'emergency tax'.
[12:32]<@BC_Programming> I think tax returns are like a scam here
[12:32]<@BC_Programming> you give them money that they are basically "borrowing" depending on your income
[12:32]<@BC_Programming> but they only give it back if you jump through hoops
[12:32]<@BC_Programming> of course if you owe THEM money suddenly the forms are vestigial...
[12:33]<+Mulreay> heh, indeed
[12:34]<+Mulreay> As Red Dwarf has now restarted may be you would like to follow bobbyllew Robert Llewellyn
[12:34]<+Mulreay> Ooops.just gone over 68,000. Thanks for the follows you lovely load of Twitterrati

[12:35]<+Mulreay> Makes me smile
[12:35]<@BC_Programming> yeah RD rules
[12:35]<@BC_Programming> that applies in two ways
[12:35]<@BC_Programming> Red Dwarf, and Rainbow Dash
[12:35]<+Mulreay> heh
[12:36]<@BC_Programming> of Course Pinkie Pie is best pony, but that goes without saying
[12:37]<+Mulreay> I would agree with you and I've said it for a while but I don't want people to think that I'm just doing it
[12:38]<@BC_Programming> heh
[12:40]<@BC_Programming> oh wait, I couldn't have done 2008's return, I still have the statement of remuneration thing and I hadn't opened it
[12:41]<@BC_Programming> oh wow... in 2007 I made 16,735, but in 2008 I made 21,501
[12:43]<@BC_Programming> so I need two things, a document envelope and a stamp
[12:44]<@BC_Programming> surely there are some lying around here somewhere
[12:45]<@BC_Programming> the EI thing sure takes it's bloody time, I submitted for it like a week and a half ago now it feels

[17:29]<@BC_Programming> wonderful, now m keboard is broken
[17:30]<Craig> Oh?
[17:30]<@BC_Programming> the y key doesn't work properly
[17:30]<@BC_Programming> I had to paste those y's...
[17:30]<Craig> Ummm, wow, I have a spare here,
[17:30]<@BC_Programming> well I have spares
[17:30]<Craig> But I could send it to you...
[17:30]<Craig> :P Its a microsoft media keyboard. :)
[17:31]<@BC_Programming> I have a wireless keyboard as well
[17:31]<Craig> :P ahhh
[17:31]<@BC_Programming> well no batteries for that
[17:31]<@BC_Programming> but I have a bunch of old PS/2 keyboards
[17:31]<Craig> Its USB and requires no batteries, :)
[17:32]<@BC_Programming> I don't like USB keyboards...
[17:32]<Tux2> lol, some people do the craziest stuff on their minecraft servers...
[17:32]<Craig> Oh?
[17:32]<@BC_Programming> hmm maybe I can fix this one
[17:33]<Tux2> Yeah, I'm helping out with support on mclayer.com for a discount on my server hosting, and this one guy gave his root password and mcmyadmin password to a friend...
[17:33]<@BC_Programming> lol
[17:33]<Tux2> somehow is friend managed to delete the McMyAdmin.conf file!
[17:33]<+Mulreay> lol
[17:33]<Tux2> and locked him out of his own server!
[17:33]<Craig> Hahahah, sucks to be him... :P
[17:34]<Craig> Nah just needs to do a localhost login. :P
[17:34]<Craig> Of course that means he needs local access. :P
[17:34]<Tux2> lol, I stepped him through resetting the root password and then I got in and reset the mcmyadmin stuff.
[17:34]<Craig> Hahaha nice save.
[17:35]<Tux2> Yeah, he was like "oh thank you!!!!"
[17:35]<Craig> That'll be 45% now right?
[17:36]<Tux2> lol, dunno... just a customer
[17:36]<Craig> :P
[17:36]<Tux2> at least he didn't need help with permissions...
[17:36]<@BC_Programming> heh... windows key is broken too
[17:37]<Craig> :P
[17:38]<@BC_Programming> now it's working again
[17:38]<@BC_Programming> wonder if this is a software issue
[17:39]<@BC_Programming> well the wireless keyboard seems to work so I guess that is out...
[17:40]<Tux2> lol
[17:40]<@BC_Programming> and now the y key on my old one works again too
[17:40]<@BC_Programming> wtf is going on here
[17:41]<@BC_Programming> I guess it might not be the kb then, which I guess is good news anyway
[17:41]<Tux2> lol, just switch to linux already BC_Programming
[17:41]<@BC_Programming> particularly since this reminds me why I don't use the wireless keyboard, mostly because it's spongy and awful
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> Do you really want to get me started?
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> really?
[17:43]<Tux2> lol...
[17:43]<Tux2> just kidding
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> good because if I had to rant on this keyboard I would not be pleased
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> imagine having sponges stuck to the end of your fingers
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> that's sort of what it feels like
[17:44]<Tux2> lol
[17:44] * @BC_Programming realizes that his other keyboard started working again
[17:44]<Tux2> I still can't figure out why someone would give their root password out to someone else...
[17:44] * @BC_Programming throws wireless keyboard back in the corner
[18:15]<Tux2> lol...
[18:28]<Tux2> lol BC_Programming, "art of the dress" is on in my playlist and my background changed to your rarity wallpaper when it started playing!
[18:28]<@BC_Programming> neat
[18:33]<+Mulreay> For those that were following http://www.spaceandscience.co.uk/articlesresourcemain/41-spacearticles/889-nasa-deep-space-network-captures-new-image-of-asteroid-flying-by-earth-today
[19:05]<@BC_Programming> "occupy everything" is so dumb
[19:06]<@BC_Programming> on a forum people are going on and on how it's "about government corruption and it has to stop"
[19:06]<@BC_Programming> so I say "ok, name one instance that isn't isolated that shows government corruption"
[19:06]<@BC_Programming> they just said that "there are asstons of cases" and then made an analogy about the FDA and drugs or something
[19:07]<@BC_Programming> of course the fact that they had to make an analogy at all sort of proved what I was saying
[19:20]<Craig> Your so strange BC> :P
[19:48]<+Mulreay> Or normal and we are strange
[19:51]<Craig> Bahahaha, that is also entirely possible. :P
[19:51]<@BC_Programming> pointing out logical fallacies makes me strange?
[19:51]<Tux2> lol...
[19:53]<Craig> Nah, your just strange in general, :P the Logical Fallacies was entertainment. :P
[19:54]<@BC_Programming> oh... ok then
[19:56]<Craig> :P So what are you guys up to?
[19:56]<+Mulreay> I'm watching this
[19:57]<Craig> Hahaha, thats a slow thing to watch unfold. :P
[19:57]<Craig> When does the asteroid pass by?
[19:57]<+Mulreay> Already happened
[19:58]<Craig> Ah, :P oops
[19:58]<Tux2> I'm trying to figure out a bug in regios, and then add spoutlwc to the new server
[19:58]<Tux2> then around 2AM I'll be switching over to the new host for minecraft
[20:01]<+Mulreay> Oh PS, Mums Cancer has prity much gone, they can no longer find the tumor. But they will still operate on the 7thof Dec
[20:07]<Tux2> well, that's some good news at least.

[20:23]<Tux2> Yeah, that's me at the bottom.

[20:26]<Tux2> heh, I wrote it...
[20:27]<Craig> Ahh, :P Third person, nice. :)
[20:27]<Craig> Can they host anything else?
[20:27]<Craig> Do they have other services?
[20:28]<Tux2> He does have a web hosting service, why?
[20:33]<Craig> Thanks Tux,
[20:34]<Tux2> no problem Craig
[20:34]<@BC_Programming> I uploaded BASeBlock 1.4 the other day
[20:34]<@BC_Programming> including source
[20:34]<@BC_Programming> yay
[20:35]<Tux2> :D
[20:43]<@BC_Programming> Why did I buy this tea
[20:44]<Tux2> lol... bc and his impulse buying...
[20:44]<@BC_Programming> although I guess that the only reason I still have it is because I don't like it
[20:44]<@BC_Programming> it's from at least 6 months ago
[20:45]<@BC_Programming> I like green tea, and I like chai tea
[20:45]<@BC_Programming> but together it's just wrong
[20:46]<Craig> Hahahaha
[20:46]<@BC_Programming> Now jasmine green tea, that's some fine stuff
[20:48]<@BC_Programming> I remember the name of the green tea I bought years ago, gyokuro
[20:48]<@BC_Programming> that stuff was actually entertaining to make
[20:48]<@BC_Programming> the leaves caem alive and got huge
[20:48]<@BC_Programming> could have been mistaken for spinach
[20:51]<@BC_Programming> ahh the crazy things I did when I had lots of disposable income
[20:54]<@BC_Programming> oh wow
[20:54]<Craig> ?
[20:54]<@BC_Programming> 13.50 for 100g of English breakfast
[20:54]<@BC_Programming> but it was totally worth it
[20:56]<@BC_Programming> haha the white tea I had purchased years ago was like 42 dollars
[20:57]<@BC_Programming> but most of it went to waste because it doesn't keep long, oh well
[21:02]<@BC_Programming> also turns out my tea brewer thing can be used for coffee
[21:02]<@BC_Programming> that could be useful
[21:02]<@BC_Programming> for making coffee, mainly
[21:04]<Craig> Hahaha
[21:04]<Craig> That would be interesting, steeped coffee...?
[21:04]<Tux2> lol
[21:05]<@BC_Programming> would be implies I haven't done it already
[21:05]<@BC_Programming> tastes better then the coffee from the coffee maker
[21:06]<Craig> Hahahah Nice

[11:46]<+Mulreay> Looking for vBulletin Designer
[11:46]<+Mulreay> We are looking for a proper design for our website, that will make it look up to par with our new shop and stuff like that.
[11:46]<+Mulreay> What we are wanting is someone who designs vBulletin 4 styles, that means you need to know the following:
[11:46]<+Mulreay> How to edit, modify and create new vBulletin templates
[11:46]<+Mulreay> How to code CSS and HTML/PHP
[11:46]<+Mulreay> How to use the vBulletin 4 stylevars
[11:46]<+Mulreay> Able to connect to our TeamSpeak server or use Skype to discuss what we want
[11:46]<+Mulreay> Know what the Yogscast is and what they do, that way its easier to imagine what things should look like. (duh)
[11:46]<+Mulreay> How to apply:
[11:47]<+Mulreay> Follow the general application rules and layout. (18+)
[11:47]<+Mulreay> Post a new thread in this section: http://yogscast.com/forumdisplay.php?40-Hiring

[13:44]<+Mulreay> after the man?

[13:50]<@BC_Programming> and if you get the really good loose stuff it's EPIC

[13:50]<+Mulreay> Yeah I bet, there are places in Manchester where you can have a brew made from top quality stuff but it costs like £2 a brew
[13:51]<@BC_Programming> the English Breakfast tea from the tea house is 13.50, iirc
[13:51]<+Mulreay> wow
[13:51]<@BC_Programming> but it's totally worth it
[13:51]<+Mulreay> I suppose an English breakfast tea would cost less here
[13:52]<@BC_Programming> not sure, it's just a specific blend really
[13:53]<+Mulreay> Plus if you want to know the 'real' English breakfast tea... it's a PG Tips brew, one sugar and light on the milk... nom nom nom with an English breakfast
[13:53]<@BC_Programming> we have PG tips, but it's just Orange Pekoe
[13:54]<@BC_Programming> well than again so is English Breakfast

[14:34]<+Mulreay> yeah it's not a good situation
[14:35]<@BC_Programming> I like the changelog for Version 8 of FF
[14:35]<@BC_Programming> "better memory management"
[14:35]<@BC_Programming> how about just doing it right in the first place
[14:35]<+Mulreay> heh yeah
[14:36]<@BC_Programming> Firefox is the worst browser, not counting all the others I've tried
[14:37]<+Mulreay> heh
[14:37]<@BC_Programming> it's funny how LinuxYouth will be all "OMG Windoze and M$ progrums they take up all your RAMZ!"
[14:38]<+Mulreay> lol
[14:38]<@BC_Programming> and then it turns out to be things like Firefox that are consuming 2 GB of memory just to show a bloody web page
[14:38]<@BC_Programming> meanwhile IE8 sits at <200K even with 10 or so tabs open
[14:38]<@BC_Programming> yeah I think we know who knows how to manage memory properly there
[14:38]<+Mulreay> true
[14:38]<@BC_Programming> I can see the meeting when they decided to change the interface to be like chrome
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "OK, we have memory problems people are complaining we need to fix it"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "How about we make firefox look like chrome instead"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "OK let's do that, it sounds fun!"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "I like fun things"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "me too"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "so it's agreed!"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "um, guys, what about the memory issue"
[14:39]<@BC_Programming> "What memory issue?"
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "do you think we should make the button Orange, or yellow-ey Red?"
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "yellow-ey Red is orange..."
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "you always were the smart one"
[14:40]<+Mulreay> lol
[14:40]<@BC_Programming> "Oh let's move the tabs to the top too"
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> "yeah why not"
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> "also when people update let's force them to use our new ground-breaking design"
[14:41]<+Mulreay> 'with the option to move them back'
[14:41]<+Mulreay> tabs that is
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> well yeah I moved them back, mine looks the same as FF3 did
[14:41]<@BC_Programming> the way they changed it was, to be blunt, <censored> retarded
[14:41]<+Mulreay> yep
[14:42]<@BC_Programming> so they spend how much time working on these idiotic and stupid looking UI enhancements, meanwhile, FF is still using a POS conservative Garbage Collector for memory management
[14:42]<@BC_Programming> If they are going to write it in C++, they should manage memory the C++ way. if they want a Garbage Collector, use a Garbage Collected language
[14:43]<@BC_Programming> otherwise they just end up with the worst of both worlds
[14:43]<+Mulreay> See now you have lost me
[14:43]<@BC_Programming> the short story is they tried to cheat so they didn't have to manage memory manually by using a library that tries to "clean up" for them
[14:43]<@BC_Programming> but it's crappy and hardly works
[14:43]<@BC_Programming> that's pretty much it in a nutshell
[14:44]<+Mulreay> So that's why the longer I have FF on it gathers more memory?
[14:44]<@BC_Programming> exactly
[14:44]<+Mulreay> k got ya
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> for example in the time I've had mIRC open, Firefox has used up 100MB more RAM
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> but it's not doing anything
[14:45]<@BC_Programming> so... wtf is that
[14:46]<+Mulreay> yeah I understand, FF can actually make my computer come to a crawl unless I shutdown FF and restart... if I leave FF on over night the laptop is soooo slugish and unusible
[14:46]<camerongray_> Browser change time?
[14:47]<@BC_Programming> No
[14:47]<@BC_Programming> like I said Firefox is the worst I've tried. Except for all the others
[14:47]<@BC_Programming> with the possible exception of later versions of IE, actually
[14:50]<camerongray_> lol
[14:52]<+Mulreay> Oh I worked out my GPU extra memory issue... well no an issue but weird thing
[14:52]<+Mulreay> The GOU intergrates with the onboard so I get 1gb memory
[14:52]<+Mulreay> GPU*
[14:53]<@BC_Programming> wait what
[14:53]<+Mulreay> what what?
[14:53]<@BC_Programming> You should disable the on-board if you are using a separate GPU
[14:53]<@BC_Programming> otherwise it's just using System memory for no reason since you aren't using it
[14:53]<+Mulreay> I don't need to
[14:54]<+Mulreay> oh ok
[14:54]<+Mulreay> It's only using the onboard graphics
[14:54]<@BC_Programming> what do you mean?
[14:55]<+Mulreay> HD5450 512MB on board supporting 1GB
[14:55]<@BC_Programming> I thought you got a separate card?
[14:55]<+Mulreay> I have]
[14:56]<+Mulreay> HD5450
[14:56]<@BC_Programming> if the GPU is 512MB, than it's 512MB, you can't change that
[14:56]<+Mulreay> Radeon
[14:56]<+Mulreay> I'm just reading off the specs on the box HD5450 512MB on board supporting 1GB
[14:56]<@BC_Programming> but like I said unless you explicitly disabled the on-board, it could be using more. And some cheaper cards pretend they have more memory by "stealing" system RAM
[14:56]<@BC_Programming> oh
[14:57]<@BC_Programming> you have 512, but the chip supports 1GB
[14:57]<+Mulreay> yeah
[14:57]<@BC_Programming> or can be upgraded or something
[14:57]<+Mulreay> But I'm showing 1GB in checks
[14:58]<@BC_Programming> oh
[14:58]<@BC_Programming> probably stealing System RAM, AGP cards can do that do
[14:58]<@BC_Programming> disable that if you can
[14:59]<+Mulreay> No issues with RAM, only have 1GB anyway... won't change things unless I get a problem.. could cause more issues that I don't need
[14:59]<@BC_Programming> if you have 1GB total system memory, than half of that is practically reserved for the graphics card
[15:00]<+Mulreay> And yet I can still play games that require atleast 1GB of system RAM
[15:00]<@BC_Programming> that is because they view the system info report
[15:01]<@BC_Programming> But clearly you're the expert
[15:01]<@BC_Programming> that came out wrong, I mean it is your system and you probably know it best
[15:01]<+Mulreay> OK hold on... where is that coming from?
[15:01]<+Mulreay> oh ok
[15:04]<+Mulreay> The system works fine, I can run FF with minecraft etc and still my Mem is not maxed out... it's not an issue so will just plod along
[15:04]<@BC_Programming> it might just be that it will use system memory if you use enough of the GPU memory
[15:04]<+Mulreay> ahh yeah that would make sense
[15:05]<+Mulreay> so rather than being just 1GB it's more 1GB potential
[15:05]<@BC_Programming> yeah it pretends to be 1gb
[15:06]<@BC_Programming> but only because it can use system RAM as Graphics memory
[15:06]<+Mulreay> yeah makes sense
[15:06]<@BC_Programming> my card is 512 and I've not needed more though
[15:06]<+Mulreay> But surely memory RAM would be far slower
[15:06]<@BC_Programming> yeah thus the problem
[15:06]<@BC_Programming> well not a problem
[15:06]<+Mulreay> yeah
[15:06]<@BC_Programming> I just don't like cards and stuff that lie about their capabilities...
[15:07]<+Mulreay> yeah I get ya
[15:08]<+Mulreay> Well it plays my games for now and only cost me £25 so can't complain... get the RAM up and I'm sorted... birthday at the end of the month will get my parents to buy me 3x 1GB DDR

[18:57]<@BC_Programming> well I've given up on the scripting idea
[18:57]<@BC_Programming> sort of
[18:58]<@BC_Programming> I changed it so it instead looks in the Scripts folder and compiles .csx and .vb files to assemblies using the built-in .NET compiler stuff, and then it adds those assemblies to the same list it created while enumerating DLL files
[18:59]<Tux2> ah...
[19:00]<@BC_Programming> I was going to use IronPython... but after several hours my only conclusion is that the people who came up with the model for using that were brain damanged

[19:39]<@BC_Programming> haha! it works
[19:40]<@BC_Programming> I have a block that is available everywhere just by tossing the C# code in a .csx file in the scripts folder
[19:40]<Tux2> :)
[19:54]<@BC_Programming> heh now to clean up all the references I added to the project to lua and Ironpython stuff

[06:21]<+camerongray> Cool
[06:22]<@BC_Programming> it's cool because the code inside the scripts defines new classes that derive from classes within BASeBlock itself, and it works, pretty awesome

[10:12]<+Graham> well I survived 11:11 11-11-11 I'm getting quite good at surviving the end of the world
[10:14]<@BC_Programming> I didn't even know there was a end of the world thing for then
[10:14]<+Graham> yeah apparently
[10:14]<@BC_Programming> although I guess I'm not surprised
[10:14]<+Graham> me neither
[10:15]<@BC_Programming> oh no, 503 is a prime number, and it's a factor of 2012! you know what that means!
[10:15]<@BC_Programming> absolutely nothing obviously
[10:15]<+Graham> noooo
[10:15]<+Graham> heh
[10:17]<@BC_Programming> and if you split 2012 in half, at the tens place, you end up with 20 and 12; 20-12 is 8, and 8 is 2 to the power of 3! 3 is a prime number, and so is 5, and 5-3 is 2! and 2 is twice the size of 1! And 1 is the number of people that are me!
[10:17]<@BC_Programming> and I forgot where I was going with that
[10:17]<+Graham> haha nice
[10:17]<@BC_Programming> that's pretty much how most of them go
[10:17]<+Graham> yeah definately
[10:23]<+camerongray> lol
[10:26]<@BC_Programming> oh no! and 11 is a prime number too
[10:26]<@BC_Programming> that must mean something
[10:28]<+camerongray> Now should I order a pizza
[10:28]<+camerongray> ?
[10:28]<+Graham> nope
[10:29]<@BC_Programming> yes
[10:29]<@BC_Programming> the power of 11 compels you
[10:29]<+Graham> lol
[10:29]<+camerongray> hahaha
[10:29]<@BC_Programming> and if you split 11 in half, you get either two 1's, or 5 and a half
[10:29]<@BC_Programming> and 5.5*10 gives you 55 which divides evenly into 5, which is a prime number
[10:30]<@BC_Programming> and so forth
[10:30]<+Graham> Your getting good at this
[10:30]<+camerongray> hmm - Cheesy bites or stuffed crust?
[10:30]<+Graham> Stuffed
[10:31]<@BC_Programming> I didn't even sleep last night, spent the entire night watching DS9, lol
[10:31]<+camerongray> Good plan - The bites are fiddly
[10:31]<+Graham> heh, I managed to get the last 8 episodes of MLP I was missing from S1
[10:31]<+camerongray> Oh - I can only get stuffed crust on a large one, oh well - I'm hungry!
[10:31]<@BC_Programming> I've never been good at playing the fiddle, with or without bites
[10:32]<+camerongray> hahaha
[10:32]<+Graham> I was wondering what I should do with mulreay.com and now I know.. it will be a prediction of the end of the world site... although that would take up a LOT of my time
[10:33]<+camerongray> Now - I know world famine is a problem but automatically adding a donation to my order is cheeky!
[10:33]<@BC_Programming> camerongray: yeah that would annoy me as well
[10:33]<@BC_Programming> it's not a donation if they do that...
[10:34]<+Graham> yeah, those damn ethiopians and there moaning about hunger and stuff as you chomp on your large stuffed crust pizza
[10:34]<+Graham> but yeah cheeky
[10:34]<@BC_Programming> I'm envious of them, I'd love to be skinny like that, just not with all the flies and death and stuff
[10:34]<+Graham> yeah, that would but a crimp on an otherwise fine life
[10:35]<@BC_Programming> besides I have biggerproblems
[10:35]<@BC_Programming> my foot fell asleep, for instance
[10:35]<+Graham> you ok?
[10:35]<@BC_Programming> I think I'll manage
[10:36]<+Graham> good good
[10:36]<@BC_Programming> oh wait it's my entire leg that fell asleep
[10:37]<@BC_Programming> this is terribly uncomfortable, bad things always happen to me and all that
[10:37]<@BC_Programming> and it's always my left leg, starting to suspect foul play
[10:37]<+Graham> yeah 'why me' and all that
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> it's odd when you sleep funny and wake up and one of your arms is totally numb and you can't move it
[10:38]<+Graham> hehe yeah feels a bit weird especially when you try and pick something up with it... then you have to use your other arm to move it around
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> it just sorta flops around awkwardly until the blood starts flowing
[10:39]<@BC_Programming> and of course the first thing most people, or at least I, do when I wake up usually involves rubbing ones eyes
[10:39]<@BC_Programming> so I inevitably give myself a good slap in the face
[10:39]<+Graham> lol
[10:39]<+camerongray> Building a new house in Minecraft
[10:40]<+Graham> cool, will be on in a bit, just watching the footie

[12:29]<@BC_Programming> well I have a chicken spawner and a sheep spawner and haven't noticed issues like that
[12:29]<@BC_Programming> It's probably regios's fault though
[12:29]<+Mulreay> oh sorry mine is a spider spawner
[12:30]<@BC_Programming> AHHH
[12:31]<@BC_Programming> then it is almost certainly regios
[12:31]<@BC_Programming> destroy the spawner and move it outside the spawn town limit
[12:32]<+Mulreay> Just killed it off... spider frenzy
[12:39]<@BC_Programming> wow

[13:50]<@BC_Programming> Tux2: yes
[13:50]<Tux2> lol, french cutiemark. ;)
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> yeah that was funny
[13:50]<+Mulreay> spoiler alert
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> by the time you get to season 2 you'll have forgotten surely
[13:50]<Tux2> lol Mulreay... just get caught up will you. ;)

[14:02]<+Mulreay> Think I will have to upgrade my eyes to 1080p... or may be I'm starting the road towards needing glasses
[14:03]<@BC_Programming> I already 'need' glasses but I've muddled through
[14:03]<@BC_Programming> it's nearsighted that I am, far away stuff is blurrier than it ought to be
[14:03]<@BC_Programming> that's what I get for using a ancient fuzzy 15" CRT monitor at 1024x768 for 4-5 years though
[14:03]<+Mulreay> I used to have glasses about 10yrs ago but stopped wearing them... my right eye lets the team down
[14:06]<+Mulreay> I used to have 20:20 but then I took an eye test

[15:24]<@BC_Programming> which is pretty amazing given she's dead and all
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> Ok I give up, I guess I'll leave the sudo timeout on the super secure setting that allows anybody to do anything for 15 minutes after I enter the password

[15:29]<@BC_Programming> "you don't have to worry about malware on Linux because it's InherentlySecure!"
[15:29]<@BC_Programming> even though the real reason is related to the fact that you would have to follow a guide to properly configure the malware for optimal operation

[15:33]<@BC_Programming> they don't have bug trackers, the bug trackers are where they go to call people M$ shills and circle-jerk around their own insecurities
[15:34]<@BC_Programming> oh that's a useful option in sudo insults: If set, sudo will insult users when they enter an incorrect password. This flag is off by default.

[16:38]<@BC_Programming> ?
[16:38]<@BC_Programming> what sound changes?
[16:39]<Tux3> New door opening sounds, arrow discharge sounds, etc.
[16:39]<@BC_Programming> they aren't used though
[16:39]<Tux3> Um, yeah, they are...

[15:25]<+Mulreay> Dear mulreay,
[15:25]<+Mulreay> Your YouTube account mulreay might be eligible to earn revenue from the playbacks of your videos.
[15:25]<+Mulreay> Making money from your videos is easy. Here's how it works: First sign into your YouTube account. Then review and complete the steps outlined here: http://www.youtube.com/account_monetization?feature=ieqe
[15:25]<+Mulreay> .
[15:25]<+Mulreay> If your account is enabled, we may place ads next to the videos you submit for monetization. You will earn a share of the revenue from the ads as long as you meet the program requirements.
[15:25]<+Mulreay> Thanks and good luck!
[15:25]<+Mulreay> The YouTube Team
[15:26]<+camerongray> You need lots of views for partnership - For monetization your account just needs to be in good standing

[15:26]<+camerongray> Not sure if you could with the MLP stuff

[21:04]<Tux2> I just did it to prank him too. ;)
[21:04]<@BC_Programming> what did you do
[21:05]<Tux2> I just played around 15 seconds of the song, that was it...
[21:05]<Tux2> he got curious and started watching my little pony today
[21:07]<@BC_Programming> http://bc-programming.com/images/other/mlp/lunainschange.mp3
[21:07]<@BC_Programming> weee
[21:21]<Tux2> nice BC_Programming
[21:23]<@BC_Programming> yeah but it's not really that impressive, since he gives the MIDI away
[21:23]<Tux2> lol
[21:23]<@BC_Programming> although when I imported it all the instruments were acoustic pianos
[21:23]<Tux2> lol
[21:24]<@BC_Programming> took a good hour of trial and error to find instruments that didn't sound awful, heh
[21:28]<@BC_Programming> ooh I just placed a redstone wire by accident
[21:28]<@BC_Programming> they changed it... when you have a single piece it's a little round thing rather than a four-way
[21:29]<Tux2> heh

[05:50]<@BC_Programming> well do you have a VPS?
[05:50]<@BC_Programming> I thought you used shared hosting
[05:50]<+Mulreay> Yeah it's shared

[06:00]<+Mulreay> yeah that bit I liked because it's so true of the game
[06:01]<@BC_Programming> "OK you're scary"
[06:02]<+paragon> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHex9GDQ2S0
[06:03]<+Mulreay> the end part is soooo funny
[06:05]<+Mulreay> pinkie pie song added to iTunes
[06:07]<@BC_Programming> heh funny thing about that song... my lyrics plugin actually is able to grab the lyrics for it
[06:08]<+Mulreay> I'm so getting my Mum into MLP when I go to London for Christmas
[06:09]<@BC_Programming> tux said he converted somebody using the leaked song
[06:09]<+Mulreay> heh
[06:09]<+Mulreay> It would turn most people I think
[06:09]<@BC_Programming> I didn't really like it at first tbh
[06:09]<@BC_Programming> but now it's stuck in my head...
[06:09]<+Mulreay> heh, I liked it from the first listen
[06:11]<@BC_Programming> oh yeah skyrim is so buggy it's ridiculous
[06:11]<+Mulreay> Plus with all the Mum Cancer stuff it feels more poignant and will make my Mum smile when I play it for her... will have to burn it to CD
[06:12]<+Mulreay> Yeah your Skyrim vids are all messed up... forget if I told you
[06:18]<@BC_Programming> how so?
[06:19]<+Mulreay> For some bizarre reason you can't expand the videos to play full screen... no idea why.. but makes watching them a tad harsh as my TV is like 6ft away
[06:19]<@BC_Programming> yeah I've noticed my videos get buffered really slowly for whatever reason
[06:20]<@BC_Programming> I can expand them fullscreen though
[06:21]<+Mulreay> not me, only happens with your skyrim vids... it just wigs out, no display and hard to describe but if I run the mouse over any part it layers as in it copies the display and keeps overlaying it... like I say hard to describe
[06:22]<@BC_Programming> well I don't know
[06:23]<+Mulreay> make a vid one sec
[06:27]<@BC_Programming> haha... mega64 did a video for that batman game
[06:32]<@BC_Programming> http://www.youtube.com/user/RoccoB64#p/u/91/pDc0TwXxPnA
[06:32]<@BC_Programming> rofl... these guys are awesome
[06:33]<+Mulreay> just rendering the video to show you what I see
[06:33]<+Mulreay> 10mins will be up
[06:33]<@BC_Programming> oh ok
[06:34]<@BC_Programming> I didn't not believe you, I just can't do anything about it either way
[06:34]<+Mulreay> heh yeah sorry wasn't having a go..just wanted you to see
[06:34]<+Mulreay> it's weird
[06:35]<@BC_Programming> for some reason that reminds me I meant to make another video where I write a script for baseblock for a levelbuilder
[06:36]<+Mulreay> oh meant to ask you, would you mind if I used a very short 2-4secs clip of your videos to make my new gain channel fame advert?
[06:37]<@BC_Programming> um
[06:37]<@BC_Programming> ok I guess
[06:37]<+Mulreay> If your not sure then just say no
[06:37]<@BC_Programming> try to avoid the MLP ones that would be odd
[06:37]<+Mulreay> no it would be your programming ones I want
[06:38]<@BC_Programming> oh ok
[06:38]<@BC_Programming> there should be another one of those soon as well
[06:38]<+Mulreay> cool
[06:38]<+Mulreay> Like I say just very quick snips of the video, not full ones
[06:39]<+Mulreay> plus no sound
[06:43]<+paragon> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gVKYqWMcgg
[06:43]<+Mulreay> is what is happening
[06:44]<@BC_Programming> k looking
[06:47]<@BC_Programming> hmm weird
[06:47]<+Mulreay> yeah, only the skyrim videos
[06:48]<@BC_Programming> well those are some of the only ones I monetized, wonder if that's related
[06:48]<@BC_Programming> does it do the same thing with this one
[06:48]<@BC_Programming> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCMQZyunJQc
[06:48]<+Mulreay> one sec
[06:49]<+Mulreay> nope works fine
[06:49]<@BC_Programming> hmm odd
[06:50]<+Mulreay> This is monetized does it act weird for you?
[06:50]<+paragon> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS-4TtUHttg
[06:51]<@BC_Programming> well not really
[06:51]<@BC_Programming> it expands fine
[06:51]<@BC_Programming> when I shrank it flash crashed, h eh
[06:51]<@BC_Programming> probably unrelated though
[06:51]<+Mulreay> yeah probably
[06:52]<@BC_Programming> ok nevermind, it's reproducible
[06:52]<+Mulreay> strange it's just the skyrim vids
[06:54]<@BC_Programming> hmm they work for me though
[06:54]<@BC_Programming> oh well
[06:55]<+Mulreay> never no mind
[06:56]<+Mulreay> Just got my train tickets for London that my Mum and Dad got... 1st class ohhh yeaaahhh
[07:03]<@BC_Programming> I think I'll change some baseblock sounds
[07:04]<@BC_Programming> you know before I get a giant fanbase, that way nobody complains
[07:04]<+Mulreay> heh
[07:04]<@BC_Programming> on that note I like all the new minecraft sounds
[07:04]<@BC_Programming> the forum is just ridiculous
[07:04]<@BC_Programming> there was one person saying the game is "boring now" since they changed the door sound
[07:04]<@BC_Programming> how the feck does that make sense
[07:06]<@BC_Programming> OMG I made another cent
[07:06]<+camerongray> Ahh - That was fun - *Phone rings* "Hello this is Jack from the Windows Service Center becuase your computer is..." - "I use Linux" - *Hangs up*
[07:06]<@BC_Programming> haha
[07:06]<+Mulreay> I have 12p for my videos so in yo face
[07:08]<@BC_Programming> damn
[07:08]<@BC_Programming> hey now it's not a contest
[07:08]<+Mulreay> lol
[07:08]<@BC_Programming> and the 4 cents was from clicksor
[07:08]<+camerongray> It was one of those ones where they say you have a virus and charge you to remove it
[07:08]<@BC_Programming> of course if adsense didn't mysteriously blacklist my domain from serving ads I wouldn't have to use another service
[07:08]<+Mulreay> I still have 72p from space and science ... I will be rich
[07:09]<+camerongray> I've finally got my whole family to learn not to bother with these calls
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> and I still need to get the hold off my adsense account so I can get the 12 dollars
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> see if I got a call like that I would so lead them on
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> "OK you need to go to control panel"
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> "I can't see it"
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> "open the start menu"
[07:09]<+camerongray> HAHAHA!
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> "All I see is "IBM Personal Computer DOS version 3.1"
[07:09]<@BC_Programming> "and C Colon greater than"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> "Should I run fdisk?"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> "No"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> "OK I started fdisk"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> "I don't want you to start fdisk"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> "oh, well you should have said so"
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> lol
[07:11]<+Mulreay> lol
[07:11]<+camerongray> BAHAHA
[07:11]<+camerongray> I want them to call back now!
[07:13]<@BC_Programming> that would be epic to record too
[07:14]<@BC_Programming> "Ok so what should I do now, Tom?"
[07:14]<@BC_Programming> "My name is Chris"
[07:14]<@BC_Programming> "I'll call you Tom"
[07:16]<+camerongray> Nice! - Computer Active (A UK PC Magazine) called one of these companies and recored their screen: http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ca/pc-help/1908340/exposed-cold-pc-service-company-tried-mislead

[07:16]<@BC_Programming> haha sweet
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> heh
[07:20]<+Mulreay> wow
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> see I would have done it totally differently
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> I wouldn't have even bothered dealing with the computer
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> I would just make it up as I go along
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> "OK now enter eventvwr"
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> "ok I typed fdisk"
[07:20]<+Mulreay> lol
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> "What? I said eventvwr"
[07:20]<@BC_Programming> "I know but I like fdisk"
[07:21]<@BC_Programming> "no I need you to start eventvwr"
[07:21]<@BC_Programming> "Should I close fdisk"
[07:21]<@BC_Programming> "yes"
[07:21]<@BC_Programming> "OK I started fdisk again"
[07:22]<+Mulreay> I like how they 'know' they have errors
[07:22]<+camerongray> My granny plays the "I don't have a computer" card
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> I'd basically waste their time
[07:23]<+camerongray> Yeh
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> after maybe 20 minutes they will have finally got me to enter eventvwr (well, afaik) and then they would be
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> "ok, now press enter"
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> "Nothing happened"
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> "Did you press enter"
[07:23]<@BC_Programming> "No, I pressed tab. I like tab better"
[07:23]<+camerongray> HAHAHA!
[07:24]<+Mulreay> ll
[07:24]<+Mulreay> lol
[07:24]<+camerongray> If you ever get a call - Record it
[07:24]<@BC_Programming> I'd try that's for sure
[07:24]<+Mulreay> haha 'anti virus is not working'
[07:25]<+Mulreay> haha the red crosses are errors,
[07:26]<+Mulreay> sorry malware.... was busy listening
[07:34]<+camerongray> Lol - Someone made 6 videos of one scam call: http://www.youtube.com/user/id516265#p/u/5/Ab22fgjoC4E
[07:36]<@BC_Programming> cool I just made an explosion sound from scratch
[07:37]<@BC_Programming> and it actually sounds like an explosion
[07:37]<@BC_Programming> now I can finally stop stealing the old MC explosion
[07:47]<Tux2> morning BC_Programming
[07:49]<+Mulreay> just added your vid to facefook and youwanaby
[07:49]<+Mulreay> that was twitter
[07:49]<+Mulreay> couldn't think of a clever pun
[07:52]<Tux2> BC_Programming, going to watch the new episode live?
[07:53]<+Mulreay> He'sprobably asleep, been awake for AGES
[08:06]<Tux2> lol...
[08:07]<Tux2> the first song in the new season!!!!!
[08:07]<Tux2> Fluttershy and RD
[08:10]<Tux2> Mulreay, watching the new episode on the stream at all?
[08:19]<@BC_Programming> Mulreay: I woke up just before you asked me to make that sigbar thing
[08:19]<@BC_Programming> was just recording the video to "show off" BASeBlock's scripting
[08:19]<Tux2> lol BC_Programming, are you watching the video
[08:19]<@BC_Programming> At least I managed to show off how it shows errors...
[08:20]<Tux2> live stream I mean...
[08:20]<@BC_Programming> tux2: nope
[08:20]<Tux2> we have a song@
[08:31]<Tux2> ha ha, my prediction was correct...
[08:43]<+paragon> before I knew better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Bpdx8ls_uk
[08:45]<@BC_Programming> heh... my video shows off more of the error reporting that BASeBlock shows than anything else really
[08:59]<Tux2> lol
[08:59]<@BC_Programming> about half of it is me looking at the errors and fixing them, lol
[09:00]<@BC_Programming> but there were only 5 overall which wasn't a whole lot given I had to write the script in a text editor
[09:01]<Craig> Hey Tux, you got a moment
[09:01]<Craig> ?
[09:02]<+Mulreay> stop bothering him.... sorry wrong room
[09:02]<Craig> Hahaha
[09:03]<+Mulreay> I need your address Craig, may me again
[09:04]<+Mulreay> be*
[09:05]<Tux2> lol, give me a second, transcribing a song at the moment.
[09:06]<Craig> Anyone understand this, I have no clue where the error is... http://pastebin.com/rvJS3d5z
[09:28]<Craig> Hmmmm
[09:29]<Craig> Tried reinstalling MCMyAdmin from a fresh copy, hahaha seems to have workd?
[09:29]<Tux2> lol, I put up a video of the newest song in the MLP series, already has 22 views!
[09:29]<@BC_Programming> cool Craig & tux2
[09:30]<Craig> Hmmm Now how do I change it so that it knows that I know what I am doing since its not on the localhost?
[09:30]<Tux2> Craig, you have to change the md5 hash for the password
[09:30]<Craig> riiiight, one sec
[09:31]<Tux2> Oh boy, the views just doubled...
[09:31]<Tux2> Ha! The fun has been doubled.

[09:32]<Tux2> lol
[09:34]<@BC_Programming> Odyssey now has another song to remix after Smile,Smile,Smile too
[09:34]<@BC_Programming> that's a win for everybody
[09:34]<Craig> So why did we go from 1.8.1 to 1.0.0?
[09:34]<@BC_Programming> 1.0.0 is the release version
[09:34]<@BC_Programming> 1.8.1 was beta
[09:34]<Craig> Ahhh
[09:35]<@BC_Programming> just like when we went from alpha 1.2.6 to beta 1.0
[09:35]<Craig> Ahh
[09:35]<@BC_Programming> I think the released version is pretty much the same as the RC2 version I had, with a few tiny fixes
[09:37] * camerongray (camerongra@mib-C7C0082C.dyn.plus.net) Quit (Ping timeout)
[09:37]<Craig> anyone have a vanilla 1.8.1 I could get?
[09:38]<@BC_Programming> I might have the jar
[09:38]<Craig> Cool,
[09:38]<Tux2> I have a jar, just give me a second.
[09:39]<Craig> !sysinfo
[09:39]<@BC_Programming> http://bc-programming.com/misc/minecraft181.jar
[09:39]<@BC_Programming> I'm pretty sure (given the name) that is MC 1.8.1
[09:40]<Tux2> lol
[09:40]<Tux2> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/35110620/f8c5a2ccd3bc996792bbe436d8cc08bc.zip
[09:40]<Craig> :P
[09:41]<Tux2> It's just the jar renamed using my jar switcher, guaranteed vanilla. ;)
[09:41]<@BC_Programming> since I never installed mods after 1.7 mine would almost certainly be as well, I think
[09:42]<@BC_Programming> I seem to have backup jar files going back to at least beta 1.2
[09:42]<Tux2> Md5 would make sure
[09:42]<Craig> Its raining under the ocean?
[09:43]<@BC_Programming> 1.8.1 bug
[09:44]<Craig> hahah yeah

[09:45]<Craig> I wonder when Mojang is officially going to have a proper mod interface, becuase the obfuscation is not really working... :P
[09:45]<@BC_Programming> ?
[09:45]<@BC_Programming> what does a mod interface have to do with the obfuscation though...
[09:45]<Craig> The Obfuscation is slowing down development because everyone has to crack it before they can mod for it.
[09:46]<@BC_Programming> and if they don't obfuscate than it's basically Open Source
[09:46]<Craig> I was just saying
[09:46]<Craig> I mean are people still able to see the code fully even if he Obfuscates it?
[09:46]<@BC_Programming> no
[09:47]<Craig> I mean after cracking
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> everything is obfuscated... they don't really have to "crack" the obfuscation
[09:47]<Craig> Ok, so does that not inhibit moding?
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> all the variable names/method names/class names etc are randomized
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> I would imagine it does, since you still have to figure out where you want to change it
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> the reason they haven't done a mod API Notch outlined, the reason was basically that they could never make an API good enough to make it possible for all the mods that have already been released. I think their idea was to allow people (modders) to have the full source, as long as they agree to some terms
[09:48]<Craig> Right, so in creating a moddable interface for the game, they eliminate most of the need to deobfuscate
[09:49]<Craig> Ahh
[09:49]<Craig> I see
[09:49]<Tux2> lol, already up to 133 views!
[09:51]<+camerongray> Nice
[09:51]<Tux2> I found what will get my channel views, that's for sure. ;)
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> oh yeah... I can't seem to access the pgdev git repo anymore, I get a "Bad File Number"...
[09:52]<Tux2> Oh, yeah, need to fix the dns
[09:52]<@BC_Programming> ahh yeah I thought it was something like that :P
[09:58]<Craig> Hey Tux, what was that script we used to run minecraft on a dedicated user?
[09:59]<Tux2> Um, don't remember...
[10:01]<Craig> :p well, I have to get ready for church, later all
[10:01]<Tux2> later Craig
[10:02]<Tux2> lol, youtube capped the views on the video until they verify that they are genuine...
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> heh
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> youtube stops keeping the views updated when you break a few hundred, if I recall
[10:02]<+Mulreay> It would seem that MW3 has massive issues with spawn rape
[10:03]<@BC_Programming> I'm trying to figure out why I was offered a monetization thing
[10:04]<@BC_Programming> hey cool, my "lamentations of a war machine" video thing has like 395 views
[10:04]<@BC_Programming> I thought it had maybe 30
[10:04]<Tux2> lol
[10:04]<Tux2> I've had a few videos that have broke the 5K barrier...
[10:04]<@BC_Programming> the don't stop me now rainbow dash video is still in the lead though
[10:05]<@BC_Programming> with 603
[10:05]<Tux2> just not ones that have broke a few hundred in the first hour.
[10:06]<Tux2> lol, someone got another one up with better bass, but he has all these teamspeak sounds in it.
[10:06]<@BC_Programming> haha
[10:06]<Tux2> and he got it up 30 minutes after me.
[10:06]<Tux2> FIRST!
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> of course a lot of the views might be people looking for the episode
[10:07]<Tux2> lol, still getting lots of comments and thumbs ups as well.
[10:07]<Tux2> I didn't specifically put the episode and season in there, so maybe not...

[13:50]<@BC_Programming> there are of course only two episodes with discord and not a whole lot of clips to use so it was a bit more of a pain
[13:50]<Tux2> lol, yeah
[13:51]<Tux2> lol, I've never had a video before that has grossed over 2K views in less than 24 hours.
[13:51]<@BC_Programming> I've never had a video that has gotten even 1K views
[13:51]<Tux2> lol, make a bukkit plugin with an example video and presto, you can get over 1K views easy
[13:52]<Tux2> Just make sure to embed it into the plugin page
[13:53]<Tux2> Me and Devil_Boy found a video that someone did on sponge restore, it had like 130 views max, it now has over 800 views because we put it on the plugin page. ;)
[14:12]<Tux2> BC_Programming, for someone that is running out of ponies for wallpaper you keep churning them out...
[14:12]<Tux2> You should do one of RD and Tank
[14:14]<@BC_Programming> hmm that could work
[14:14]<@BC_Programming> so the tortoises name is tank?
[14:15]<Tux2> Yup
[14:16]<@BC_Programming> well that's not very clever
[14:16]<@BC_Programming> I was expecting something like, Helitortoise at least
[14:17]<Tux2> lol
[14:18]<Tux2> Well, didn
[14:18]<Tux2> 't you hear rd say "he's like a... tank!"
[14:18]<Tux2> then he called him tank on the first play date.
[14:18]<Tux2> she*
[14:18]<@BC_Programming> oooh
[14:18]<Tux2> Yeah
[14:20]<@BC_Programming> hmm wel I have an idea for another wallpaper than... not quite what you suggested but it will have tank
[14:20]<Tux2> lol, that's fine, it was just an idea. :D
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> hmm this may actually turn into a set of wallpapers now that I think about it
[14:23]<Tux2> What's the idea?
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> one for each pet... and then one with all of them
[14:24]<Tux2> nice!
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> there are a few wallpapers for Opalescence and Winona and stuff
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> I mean on Deviantart

[09:42]<+Mulreay> indeed
[09:42]<+Mulreay> you should do a before and after with the original bird fluttershy is trying to help

[09:43]<@BC_Programming> just hard to see
[09:43]<+Mulreay> ahh ok
[09:43]<+Mulreay> and yes there the same bird hence the before and after
[09:43]<@BC_Programming> to the right, faded somewhat
[09:44]<@BC_Programming> I could do another one with only the sickly version... but I just made 6 so that can wait, heh

[10:06]<@jacky> Craig: hello
[10:06]<+Mulreay> yep
[10:06]<Craig> Hi
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> I watched to right before the end myself
[10:07]<+Mulreay> heh
[10:07]<Craig> Hahaha
[10:07]<@jacky> what keeps it lubricated? I didn't see anthing to pump oil around
[10:07]<Craig> I skipped a bit, but not that much
[10:07]<+Mulreay> He did seem to apply grease or something to the pistons
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> it has an oil filter that I saw
[10:07]<@jacky> and I guess that to keep it from overheating, he just doesn't let it run long
[10:07]<Craig> Its not lubricated, as the machine is not large enough, nor being run long enough, its also too small
[10:07]<@jacky> you saw an oil filter?
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> well some sort of filter
[10:08]<@jacky> Craig: I wondered if that was it. ok
[10:08]<Craig> He applys some as Mulreay said
[10:08]<@jacky> BC_Programming: I saw a filter, yep.. I don't speak italian or whatever... I guessed at air filter though
[10:08]<@jacky> yep.. I saw him apply some during assembly.
[10:08]<@BC_Programming> oh could be air filter
[10:08]<@jacky> BC_Programming: no gaurantess though
[10:08]<@jacky> heh
[10:08]<Craig> Spanish, :p
[10:08]<@jacky> ok on Spanish
[10:08]<@jacky> :)
[10:08]<@jacky> very cool video
[10:09]<Craig> And that filter on top was for air
[10:09]<@jacky> tnx
[10:09]<@jacky> doesn't lube it, but filters the air. wow
[10:09]<@jacky> hehehe
[10:09]<+Mulreay> Most engines need coolant to cool them and as this was not a combustion engine I doubt it needed much cooling just not running for hours on end
[10:09]<@jacky> not combustion?
[10:09]<@jacky> what was it running on?
[10:09]<@BC_Programming> friendship
[10:09]<+Mulreay> there was no combustion
[10:09]<+Mulreay> lol
[10:09]<@jacky> BC_Programming: har
[10:09]<@jacky> what was it running on?
[10:10]<Craig> Yeah it was running on remote controlled airplane fuel.
[10:10]<+Mulreay> jacky I think it would be nigh impossible to make a carburetor and spark plugs that small :p
[10:10]<@jacky> Mulreay: not at all.. model airplane engines
[10:10]<@jacky> Mulreay: but true, some of them don't use sparkplugs... just a glow plug
[10:10]<+Mulreay> Looked to me that it was being run on air pressure
[10:10]<@jacky> the carbs are TINY
[10:11]<@jacky> we need a Spanish reader, eh?
[10:11]<@jacky> heheeh
[10:11]<@BC_Programming> I thought it was french
[10:11]<+Mulreay> That tube into the side could have been just air pumping into one of the pistons making it turn... one turns they all turn
[10:12]<@jacky> we need a Spanish reader, eh?
[10:12]<@jacky> hehe
[10:12]<+Mulreay> That's my belief anyway... definately no combustion
[10:12]<Craig> At that size you dont really use a carberator, it simply runs on compression, and an initial pull or spin, and then it takes over with that.
[10:13]<+Mulreay> That would be more like a diesel engine
[10:13]<Craig> Carbs are used for control and atomization of the fuel, and the needles are already really small in a full size engine, I am sure that its controlled by the tubing.
[10:13]<Craig> Yeah, the higher combustion rating of the airplane fuel makes that easier,
[10:13]<+Mulreay> It was air powered I'm sure...
[10:13]<@jacky> Craig: ever seen the mixture needle on a model airplane engine? heheehe now THAT is tiny
[10:13]<Craig> I could be wrong too.;
[10:14]<Craig> no hahaha
[10:14]<@BC_Programming> an air powered engine would be sorta pointless... that just means you need an air compressor, and those use an engine as well
[10:14]<Craig> BC has a point, :P
[10:14]<@jacky> the "carb" could sit on a dime
[10:14]<Craig> This could have just been a test run to see if it works.
[10:14]<Craig> Then he may be getting into fuel later.
[10:14]<@BC_Programming> or, if you had this really big balloon
[10:14]<Craig> I also cannot read spanish.
[10:14]<+Mulreay> BC_Programming hence the tube out of the side... that's the air power.. I didn't see a fuel tank or a driver either
[10:15]<Craig> back later guys, I have a meeting to go to.
[10:15]<@jacky> ok
[10:15]<+Mulreay> later
[10:15]<@jacky> what is a driver?
[10:15]<+Mulreay> the person who drives the car
[10:15]<@jacky> har
[10:15]<@jacky> I didn't see a car, as a matter of fact....
[10:16]<@BC_Programming> "Naval Air injection"
[10:16]<@BC_Programming> just google translated
[10:16]<@BC_Programming> "Engine V-12 naval air injection hand-built artesanal.Quizás is the smallest engine in the world of this modalidad.Tiene 12 cm3 of displacement, the cylinder bore is 11.3 mm and career piston is 10 with only 0.1 mm.Funciona Kg/cm2.Está constructed with stainless steel, aluminum and dedicates this motor bronce.Patelo her 4 oldest grandchildren: Sara, Carmen, Jose and Paul."
[10:17]<+Mulreay> So it is air injection, not combustion

[17:50]<Craig> My second attempt to be the technical go to guy for the Alberta Conference for the Seventh-day adventist church
[17:51]<@BC_Programming> second attempt?
[17:51]<Tux2> lol, and what exactly is he doing?
[17:51]<Craig> Yeah My first attempt was 3 years ago, and I didnt have a whole plan like this... :P
[17:52]<+pottsi> shouldn't it be borked not broked
[17:52]<+pottsi> ?
[17:52]<Craig> http://www.brokedcomputer.com/SDA-AB.jpg
[17:52]<Craig> BROKED!!!
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> lol

[17:52]<Craig> :P
[17:52]<+pottsi> :D
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> :X
[17:53]<@BC_Programming> sorry just trying to fit in

[17:53]<+pottsi> i can't see what your typing wither
[17:53]<+pottsi> anyway
[17:53]<+pottsi> afk bed
[17:53]<+pottsi> nn
[17:54]<Craig> :P Thats kinda the idea, its just something to watch
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> I'm "watching" this whole Notch/Yogscast thing unfold
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> wish I had popcorn
[17:55]<Craig> Whats the address?
[17:55]<@BC_Programming> everywhere...
[17:55]<Craig> Oh hahaha
[17:55]<+pottsi> are you busy with the work you advertise on your website Craig ?
[17:55]<Craig> Kinda, sometimes why?
[17:56]<+pottsi> just wondering
[17:57]<@BC_Programming> somebody told me to play sauerbraten, claiming that it "inspired" minecraft... of course that is dead wrong but I decided to try anyway. It's nothing like minecraft. It's basically quake where you can move stuff around
[17:58]<Craig> :P
[17:58]<Craig> Did any of you download the jpg?
[17:58]<@BC_Programming> I did
[17:58]<Craig> What do you tihnk?
[17:58]<@BC_Programming> no idea what it is. some sort of network diagram
[17:58]<Craig> think*
[18:01]<+pottsi> looks pretty good
[18:02]<+pottsi> dimple to follow
[18:02]<+pottsi> anyway
[18:02]<+pottsi> i'm gone
[18:02]<+pottsi> again
[18:02]<@BC_Programming> heh... dimple to follow
[18:05]<+pottsi> xD
[18:05]<@BC_Programming> oh WOW
[18:05]<Craig> What?
[18:05]<@BC_Programming> seems I'm not the only one who unsubbed the yogscast because of this
[18:06]<Craig> :P
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> they were at 2.4 million subscribers this morning
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> now they are at around 1.8
[18:06]<Craig> WOW
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> yeah it's serius buziness
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> wait read it wrong
[18:06]<@BC_Programming> 1,192,082 subscribers now
[18:07]<@BC_Programming> they lost over a MILLION subscribers because of it
[18:08]<Craig> This says 18,00 subs?
[18:08]<Craig> 18,000
[18:08]<@BC_Programming> "BlueXephos" is the channel...
[18:08]<Craig> Ahhh
[18:08]<@BC_Programming> I think yogscast2 is their second channel
[18:09]<Craig> 1.2 mil
[18:09]<Craig> :p
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> the number on their profile page isn't updated frequently
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> you have to go a search for "BlueXephos" to get the right count
[18:10]<Craig> Well in that time they lost 20 thousand subs?
[18:10]<@BC_Programming> ?
[18:10]<@BC_Programming> no no, on their profile page, the sub count is from a few hours ago or something, youtube doesn't update it or something
[18:10]<Craig> I dunno, they had 1.22mil on their page, and 1.20 on the search
[18:10]<@BC_Programming> but when you search, it's up to date
[18:10]<Craig> ahhh
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> it pretty much boils down to excessive swearing and unprofessional behaviour at minecon
[18:12]<Craig> :P I bet,
[18:12]<Craig> They are kinda rude...
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> they interviewed notch for over an hour
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> and they didn't even talk about minecraft or mojang
[18:12]<@BC_Programming> wtf kind of an interview is that
[18:12]<Craig> Thats retarded...
[18:12]<Craig> yeah
[18:15]<@BC_Programming> It's kind of funny all the ways the yogscast fanboys are trying to defend them though... well not so much funny as terribly sad
[18:16]<Craig> Oh?
[18:16]<@BC_Programming> defended them saying that they "weren't told not to swear" which is pretty idiotic. It's a game convention, you should be professional which means you shouldn't be swearing every sentence
[18:16]<Craig> :P
[18:17]<@BC_Programming> and you shouldn't be signing minecraft merchandise signed by Notch already by crossing out Notch's name and writing "F*** YOU". That just ruins some 13 year olds memorbilia
[18:19]<@BC_Programming> Hopefully that isn't what really happened... will have to wait for their official response once they get back to the UK
[18:19]<@BC_Programming> I doubt they will redeem themselves though, it will probably just be more swearing and saying they are the reason Minecraft is so popular
[18:21]<Craig> So arrogant...
[18:21]<Craig> But they will probably win in a lot of people's eyes... Since they are popular...
[18:21]<Craig> Man this is going to take a LOT of work...

[06:47]<Craig> Thanks,
[06:47]<Craig> I am having some really weird connection issues?
[06:50]<+Mulreay> I'm having a weird day
[06:52]<+Mulreay> May be its just my bi-polar but I actually feel ok today
[06:52]<+Mulreay> That is actually weird for me
[06:53]<+Mulreay> but I need to run to the shops
[06:53]<+Mulreay> later
[06:55]<@BC_Programming> Up until mine con, I used to wonder what it could be. But big adventures, tons of fun, notch showing such a beautiful heart and staying faithful and strong threw the whole thing really showed me that notch Simon and Lewis knew they could become very best friends.
[06:55]<@BC_Programming> heh
[07:09]<+Mulreay> haha
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> I'm not even sure if that's relevant, just wanted to shoehorn MLP in there somehow
[07:10]<+Mulreay> Lets be fair Simon and Lewis did great things for minecraft
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> no. other way around, IMO
[07:10]<@BC_Programming> they only had a few thousand subs before minecraft...
[07:10]<+Mulreay> nearly 1.5 million subs
[07:10]<+Mulreay> nw
[07:10]<+Mulreay> now
[07:15]<@BC_Programming> at any rate it gives me pointless fluff to read
[07:16]<@BC_Programming> with TMZ style inaccuracies and sensationalism
[07:21]<+Mulreay> TMZ?
[07:29]<@BC_Programming> it's basically an inaccurate tabloid
[07:29]<+Mulreay> oh
[07:32]<@BC_Programming> and then when I get bored of it I work on BaseBlock
[07:33]<@BC_Programming> I've actually been trying to fix the highscores... I keep forgetting about that
[07:34]<+Mulreay> I did think of another block but kept it back as I'm just waffling ideas now
[07:35]<@BC_Programming> no no what is it
[07:35]<@BC_Programming> I mean I added a mario brothers themed brick block
[07:35]<@BC_Programming> I could add anything
[07:37]<+Mulreay> 'Chain reaction block' basically it either adds blocks or removes them... may be two different blocks... one would add blocks exponentially until it's destroyed the other would remove blocks on may be a timer
[07:37]<@BC_Programming> how would it add the blocks
[07:37]<@BC_Programming> well not "how" but rather in what fashion
[07:37]<+Mulreay> It basically just adds blocks to places where they were removed
[07:38]<@BC_Programming> oh
[07:38]<@BC_Programming> yeah that would be like the frustrator block from the older Poing Game
[07:38]<+Mulreay> never heard of that but yeah
[07:38]<@BC_Programming> Poing being my game of course
[07:38]<@BC_Programming> you hit the frustrator block and all blocks were regenerated
[07:39]<@BC_Programming> very frustrating... thus the name
[07:39]<@BC_Programming> heh
[07:39]<+Mulreay> ahh ok
[07:39]<+Mulreay> heh
[07:39]<+Mulreay> I was thinking more like every time you hit it it adds a block..
[07:40]<@BC_Programming> oooh
[07:40]<@BC_Programming> that would work too
[07:41]<@BC_Programming> and it could be an "invincible" type block. so you have to work to try to avoid it
[07:41]<+Mulreay> so if you hit it by accident it adds another block
[07:41]<+Mulreay> yeah
[07:42]<+Mulreay> can you do a timer on blocks?
[07:43]<@BC_Programming> yes
[07:43]<+Mulreay> so if you hit it once then a timer starts?
[07:43]<@BC_Programming> yes
[07:43]<+Mulreay> cool, how about a block, that when you hit it all the blocks next to the block you hit get destroyed?
[07:44]<@BC_Programming> that would be the bombblock or destructionblock, really
[07:44]<+Mulreay> like a timed 'go for it'
[07:44]<+Mulreay> ahh ok
[07:44]<+Mulreay> true
[07:44]<@BC_Programming> bomblock shoots a tiny ball that is removed after one impact in the four cardinal directions
[07:45]<@BC_Programming> and destructionblock is the explosion one, probably my favourite effect
[07:47]<+Mulreay> I like in 'Hackers: the film' you can download a 'part' of a file and still be able to gain something by 'reading' it
[07:47]<+Mulreay> just watching hackers
[07:48]<+Mulreay> always have a film on in the background
[07:48]<+Mulreay> Do files download from the beginning to the end or is it a random effect?
[07:49]<@BC_Programming> depends
[07:49]<+Mulreay> k
[07:49]<@BC_Programming> for http it's start to finish
[07:49]<@BC_Programming> torrents it's just whatever comes down the wire
[07:49]<@BC_Programming> also if it's a text file you can read a partial download
[07:49]<+Mulreay> but not a virus
[07:50]<+Mulreay> torrents are in packets yes?
[07:50]<@BC_Programming> well you could r ead a partial download of anything if you know what you are doing
[07:54]<+Mulreay> I like the way they pulll his monitor apart to find 'the virus'.
[07:54]<@BC_Programming> I don't remember that
[07:55]<+Mulreay> they do

[07:56]<+Mulreay> RISC?
[07:56]<@BC_Programming> Reduced Instruction Set
[07:56]<@BC_Programming> err
[07:56]<@BC_Programming> forget what the C stands for
[07:56]<@BC_Programming> Computer I guess
[08:05]<@BC_Programming> oh might be a little late but you might want to avoid my latest video since it sorta has spoilers for season 2

[23:42]<Craig> Hey Tux2 you here?
[23:43]<Tux2> Yup, right here.
[23:43]<Craig> You got a moment to try to answer a question about domains, and such?
[23:43]<Tux2> sure
[23:44]<Craig> I have about 17 domains attached to my ip address,
[23:44]<Craig> before I could use domain names to go to my sites and it would work internally or externally,
[23:44]<Craig> now it seems that my internal ability has been cripled,
[23:44]<Tux2> did you switch modems or something?
[23:44]<Craig> but the only thing that I can think of that has changed is the router and the IP address.
[23:45]<Tux2> bingo
[23:45]<Tux2> It's the router
[23:45]<Craig> Shaw insists that its not their hardware
[23:45]<Craig> I mean modem.
[23:45]<Tux2> lol, I knew what you meant
[23:45]<Craig> I never changed the router.
[23:45]<Tux2> Qwest modems do the same thing to me
[23:45]<Tux2> Add a dns entry to your firewall
[23:45]<Craig> What is it that does that? Is there a way around it?
[23:45]<Craig> How so?
[23:46]<Tux2> Or just add it to your /etc/hosts
[23:46]<Craig> Again, how so?
[23:46]<Craig> I dont know how to do that in the sense that you mean?
[23:47]<Craig> I bring in all my domains through port 80, and then redirect them using NGINX, which according to the pages, is not even getting the request?
[23:47]<Tux2> redirect the domains to point to the internal IP of the computer
[23:47]<Tux2> By using the hosts file of the computer
[23:48]<Craig> OH you mean setup internal DNS?
[23:48]<Craig> so that those addresses are redirected?
[23:48]<Tux2> yup
[23:48]<Craig> Ahh
[23:49]<Tux2> I have to do that with my qest modems
[23:49]<Tux2> qwest*
[23:49]<Craig> So how would I do that with my DD-wrt router?
[23:49]<Tux2> Um, let me look...
[23:54]<Craig> This is what I have found,
[23:54]<Craig> DNSMasq
[23:54]<Craig> DNSmasq is a local DNS server. It will resolve all host names known to the router from dhcp (dynamic and static) as well as forwarding and caching DNS entries from remote DNS servers. Local DNS enables DHCP clients on the LAN to resolve static and dynamic DHCP hostnames.
[23:54]<Craig> There are some extra options you can set by entering them in Additional DNS Options. For example :
[23:54]<Craig> static allocation : dhcp-host=AB:CD:EF:11:22:33,192.168.0.10,myhost,myhost.domain,12h
[23:54]<Craig> max lease number : dhcp-lease-max=2
[23:54]<Craig> DHCP server IP range : dhcp-range=192.168.0.110,192.168.0.111,12h
[23:57]<Craig> Hey Tux, try typing something real quick, just as a test for highlighting. :P
[00:01]<Tux2> testing...
[00:01]<Craig> Dang, mIRC must have a specific method for making it highlight a name plus the additions to account for people who have more than one login...
[00:02]<Tux2> lol
[00:05]<Craig> Did you read what I put up there?
[00:05]<Craig> Does it make any sense?
