[13:12]<@BC_Programming> from what I understand, during the first season, the writers created an atmosphere rich in intrigue. There were polar bears, walking cripples and magical black children.
[13:13]<@BC_Programming> At that point everybody asked themselves WTF was going on
[13:13]<@BC_Programming> and "OMG I don't think the next season could make less sense
[13:14]<@BC_Programming> it would seem the writers were thinking the same thing, and took it as a challenge. Second season they basically tread water, not moving the story forward at all, and in some cases moving backwards. It becomes clear that the writers had painted themselves into a corner even they couldn't Deus Ex machina out of when absolutely nothing fecking happened for an entire hour

[13:15]<+Mulreay> I think they had different writers per 5 minutes... and the next writer had to make the last writers stuff not make sense... so over a 45min show with 9 different writers all making the last writer not make sense
[13:15]<@BC_Programming> you pay in your time to watch them- and it promises a big payoff- I mean some of them are wearing silly hats, right, but it turns out to just be them riding a unicycle sobbing about how their mothers didn't love them

[13:18]<+Mulreay> I agree that they started the show in the worse possible way as in they never thought of the ending..... it's like a book, you start it with a beginning, middle and end and that gives the story flow.. whereas lost just seems they went crazy making it not make sense then had a weak ending as the story was far to convoluted
