[07:45]<Nepherius> BC_Programming: you around ?
[07:45]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[07:46]<Nepherius> you good with hardware part of the PC ?
[07:46]<@BC_Programming> yeah sure
[07:46]<Nepherius> cool
[07:46]<Nepherius> I'm trying to upgrade my ram for my super old pc
[07:46]<@BC_Programming> oh ok
[07:46]<Nepherius> dose it matter if its ecc , non-ecc , registred , non-registred ..whatever that means ?
[07:47]<@BC_Programming> not really, in fact most motherboards just use ecc ram as if it was non-ecc
[07:47]<Nepherius> I got some old motherboard and dont know which ram type to bay :)
[07:47]<Nepherius> buy*
[07:48]<@BC_Programming> well you'll need to know what type to buy at least generally, like SDRAM or DDR or SIPPs
[07:48]<Nepherius> its sdram pc133 dimm , atleast thats what i got now
[07:49]<@BC_Programming> cool, just get another pc133 SDRAM and you should be fine
[07:49]<Nepherius> and I should probably go for the low density one ? Because i read around it seems thats the one most likely to work
[07:50]<@BC_Programming> you should probably try to find info on the motherboard with the serial number or model number
[07:51]<Nepherius> I did do that but i have a hard time finding those kind of info about it
[07:51]<@BC_Programming> "low-density" doesn't really mean a whole lot, and a lot of people think it just means that there is only one side with chips on it, but often the opposite is true; basically, the older motherboards could only work with RAM whose chips were 128mbit, but newer SDRAM used 256mbit chips so you only see half the RAM
[07:52]<Nepherius> checked asus website they got cuv4x-c or cuv4c-m not -cm like i got ^^
[07:53]<@BC_Programming> that's a "custom" OEM Micro-ATX board
[07:53]<Dino4Delta> BC_Programming, I fixed the problem
[07:53]<Dino4Delta> I still have no idea what the problem was, but I just decided to rebuild the entire page.
[07:54]<@BC_Programming> Dino4Delta: cool
[07:55]<@BC_Programming> Nepherius: usually the "special" model just tacks a letter on, so if I was to hazard a guess I'd say the specs would for the most part be the same as the cuv4x-m board
[07:56] * Mulreay (mulreay@mib-10E4E6F.cable.virginmedia.com) has joined #glitchpc
[07:57] * ChanbotII sets mode: +v Mulreay
[08:00]<Nepherius> Max Component Density: 256Mb so this would mean high density works ?
[08:01]<@BC_Programming> yep I'd say so
[08:02]<@BC_Programming> Oh yeah you're definitely fine, I just looked it up- a Pentium III era machine/Socket 370 should be able to handle any sort of the SDRAM you can throw at it
[08:03]<Nepherius> see -C has high denisty too so CM should have it too i guess :)
[08:04]<Nepherius> well this saved me like 10$ :P
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> heh
[08:04]<+Mulreay> Mmm chilli/lemon crisps... anyway back to Nostalgia critic
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> Mulreay: I just watched his new video
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> it's SEQUEL MONTH!
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> whatever that means
[08:04]<+Mulreay> cool
[08:04]<Nepherius> got 256 ram amt ..my pc is super slow , going for 2 x 512 ..
[08:05]<Nepherius> anyway tks for the help
[08:05]<@BC_Programming> Neph: another thing- if it's using a Via C3 you might want to toss that and replace it with a P3, the Via chips were notoriously low-end
[08:06]<@BC_Programming> to the point where my K6-2(which was a generation older) at 350Mhz was actually faster then a C3 running at nearly 1Ghz
[08:07]<Nepherius> I did see something about A VIA on the motherboard
[08:07]<Nepherius> so I should replace the motherboard too ?
[08:07]<@BC_Programming> no no
[08:07]<@BC_Programming> the Via Motherboards are alright
[08:08]<@BC_Programming> it's their attempt at CPU's that stank
[08:08]<@BC_Programming> usually you'll be able to see if it's a Via chip in device manager, assuming you are using windows
[08:09]<Nepherius> linux , got some black square thing on the motherboard with something " VIA " on it :)
[08:09]<Nepherius> yes i suck at hardware stuff :P
[08:09]<@BC_Programming> probably not the processor, probably a bit of the chipset
[08:10]<@BC_Programming> the processor will almost certainly be under a heatsink and/or fan
[08:10]<@BC_Programming> best to check with software; I believe there is a terminal command you can use with most distros to get it, let me check
[08:10]<Nepherius> hwinfo is the longest one :)
[08:10]<+Mulreay> 'Top 11 Scariest Nostalgic Moments' rofl
[08:12]<Nepherius> cpu is a PIII coppermine
[08:12]<@BC_Programming> ahh good
[08:12]<@BC_Programming> maybe see if there are faster speeds on ebay, probably no more then about 10 dollars probably
[08:13]<@BC_Programming> I replaced that 350Mhz k6-2 with a 500Mhz k6-2+ for 8 dollars
[08:13]<Nepherius> i can replace only the cpu ?
[08:13]<Nepherius> got Clock: 997 MHz
[08:14]<@BC_Programming> ya you can replace only the CPU, you'd need to get more thermal compound and reapply it and stuff though
[08:14]<@BC_Programming> 1Ghz, don't think P3's get much faster then that
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> Why dont you just buy a phone? they're faster.
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> lol :p
[08:15]<Nepherius> ..i actualy got one ..faster ^^
[08:15]<Nepherius> it has more ram atm the my pc :))
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> a TINY bit longer, and phones will be faster then my pc.
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> My pc has a cpu of 1.6 ghz :/
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> well my old pc
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> not my new one
[08:15]<Dino4Delta> and someone overclocked his phone to 1.2 ghz
[08:15]<@BC_Programming> the last thing I did was a cellphone was smash it into a wall
[08:16]<@BC_Programming> with a cellphone*
[08:16]<Dino4Delta> the last thing I did with my cellphone was read a text message.
[08:16]<@BC_Programming> but it might have been one of those candy container things
[08:16]<Dino4Delta> WHATS THAT, APP'S?
[08:16]<Dino4Delta> lol
[08:16]<Nepherius> I had a awesome new laptop , when to school with it , fouled around with some friends and someone managed to give it a nice kick ..
[08:17]<Dino4Delta> lmfao
[08:17]<Dino4Delta> what a retard
[08:17]<Nepherius> so ..bye - bye new laptop and hello super old crapy pc
[08:17]<@BC_Programming> I used to take my old laptop to school
[08:17]<@BC_Programming> it was old
[08:17]<@BC_Programming> Pentium I 133Mhz, 144MB RAM
[08:17]<Dino4Delta> lol..
[08:17]<@BC_Programming> Passive matrix display
[08:17]<+Mulreay> my second and third laptops are old
[08:17]<+Mulreay> but fun
[08:17]<@BC_Programming> actually I have it right here and it's on
[08:17]<Dino4Delta> I bring my pentium inside 2.6 ghz quad 4 gb ram to school :o
[08:18]<Nepherius> how huge is it ?:)
[08:18]<@BC_Programming> Neph: actually, I made a video a while ago where I "review it" using my crappy camera
[08:18]<@BC_Programming> I believe I spent a good 3 or so minutes just trying to get the bloody thing to turn on, lol
[08:19]<Nepherius> :))
[08:19]<@BC_Programming> "it doesn't usually do this, I swear"
[08:19]<Dino4Delta> lmfao
[08:19]<Dino4Delta> but secretly it does? :p
[08:19]<Nepherius> I am planing to turn this one in some kind of server after i buy a new pc
[08:19]<@BC_Programming> well sometimes, but usually it fires up after the second try
[08:19]<Dino4Delta> I was planning to use my old pc as a server
[08:19]<Dino4Delta> but I hav eno use for it.
[08:20]<Nepherius> well 1gb should be enough for a eggdrop maybe a bnc and a small cs server or something like that :))
[08:21]<Dino4Delta> owait
[08:21]<Dino4Delta> my old pc doesnt has 1.6ghz
[08:21]<@BC_Programming> my P4 was going to be a SVN server
[08:21]<Dino4Delta> it has 2.16 ghz
[08:22]<Dino4Delta> my current pc has 2.6 ghz qua
[08:22]<Dino4Delta> quad
[08:22]<@BC_Programming> yours is faster then mine, mine is 2.33Ghz Core 2 Quad
[08:22]<Dino4Delta> 4 gb ram ddr2
[08:22]<Dino4Delta> 1 tb hdd
[08:22]<@BC_Programming> I sorta need another one though, this one doesn't have hardware virtualization
[08:23]<Dino4Delta> i have no idea what gfx card, I think its a nvidea 230 gt
[08:23]<@BC_Programming> 8GB DDR2 memory, 750GB system drive, 1.5TB secondary
[08:23]<@BC_Programming> Nvidia 9800GT, Sound Blaster X-Fi
[08:23]<Dino4Delta> Only have 1 hdd in it with 2 partitions
[08:23]<Dino4Delta> 3*
[08:23]<@BC_Programming> I know almost all my specs on account of building myself, heh
[08:23]<Dino4Delta> also a hidden recovery partition
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> I even gave it a floppy drive
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> which really looks ugly since it has a white bezel and the case is black
[08:24]<Dino4Delta> I am planning to buy a DDR3 pci-e card though
[08:24]<Dino4Delta> for usb
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> huh?
[08:24]<Dino4Delta> i mean
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> DDR3 is memory?
[08:24]<Dino4Delta> an usb3 pci-e card
[08:24]<Dino4Delta> sorry
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> ahhh
[08:24]<@BC_Programming> ok that's what I was thinking possibly
[08:25]<@BC_Programming> I'm not going to bother with USB3 personally
[08:25]<Dino4Delta> Doesnt happen often that I have to transfer something with a high speed
[08:25]<@BC_Programming> at least not right away :P let everybody else work out the kinks
[08:25]<Dino4Delta> but it could one day be useful
[08:25]<Dino4Delta> like last time I had to transfer 500 gb :/
[08:25]<Dino4Delta> takes a while with usb2
[08:25]<@BC_Programming> USB2 goes up to 480mbps; no rotary hard drive can saturate that
[08:26]<Dino4Delta> it was going with a speed of 20 mbps
[08:26]<@BC_Programming> the "bottleneck" is the hard drive/storage device itself, more often
[08:26]<Dino4Delta> So basicly, USB3 wont speed up the transfer from hdd to (for example, external hdd)?
[08:26]<@BC_Programming> nope
[08:26]<Dino4Delta> <censored>, then what is the point of USB3
[08:27]<@BC_Programming> well, devices can communicate faster
[08:27]<@BC_Programming> whatever the heck that means
[08:27]<Dino4Delta> Like from us to usb
[08:27]<Dino4Delta> usb to usb
[08:28]<Dino4Delta> external hdd to external hdd
[08:28]<@BC_Programming> no... I should say, stuff that feeds data to the computer, like webcams and stuff, they could be made with higher resolutions
[08:28]<Dino4Delta> oooh yeah
[08:28]<@BC_Programming> it's more a solution waiting for the problem though
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> or
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> for example
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> watch a movie thats stored on the harddisk
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> i mean
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> harddrive
[08:29]<@BC_Programming> hard disk and hard drive are interchangable :P
[08:29]<Dino4Delta> righ?
[08:29]<@BC_Programming> except that I do that perfectly fine with my externals using USB2
[08:30] * camerongray (camerongra@mib-8EFA1445.dyn.plus.net) Quit (Quit: I'll be back later)
[08:30]<Dino4Delta> True, but eventually the resolution might get too high for USB2
[08:30]<Dino4Delta> Maybe not now, Maybe not tomorrow, but once.
[08:30]<Dino4Delta> But yeah.. its USB3.0, everyone will use USB2.0 for the next few years
[08:30]<@BC_Programming> heh let's do some calculations on that :P
[08:31]<@BC_Programming> what's 1080p resolution anyway? something by 1080
[08:31]<@BC_Programming> 1280x1080 or something?
[08:31]<+Mulreay> my tv is 1080p... not sure why
[08:31]<+Mulreay> better than 1080i
[08:32]<@BC_Programming> oh
[08:32]<+Mulreay> so there
[08:32]<@BC_Programming> 1080p is 1080 vertical pixels, progressive scan
[08:32]<@BC_Programming> 1080i is interlaced
[08:32]<Dino4Delta> I think it would be more realiztic if it was 1920x1080
[08:32]<Dino4Delta> realistic*
[08:32]<+Mulreay> most PS3 games play in 720p though so I'm wasting like 360p
[08:32]<+Mulreay> heh
[08:33]<@BC_Programming> yeah 1920x1080 is the standard widescreen res for that
[08:34]<Dino4Delta> I has a 1080p 3d tv
[08:34]<Dino4Delta> which can handle up to 600 ghz
[08:34]<Dino4Delta> or 600 hertz
[08:34]<Dino4Delta> i dont remember
[08:34]<Dino4Delta> 600 mhz
[08:34]<@BC_Programming> so thats 1,166,400 pixels per frame, 1,166,400*4 bytes gives us 4,665,600 bytes of data for that one frame, multiplied by something like 30fps or so gives us 139,968,000 bytes that need to be processed evey second
[08:34]<@BC_Programming> at least- that's how people like th think of it
[08:35]<@BC_Programming> thing is though, that the video data isn't just fed in raw- it's always compressed with mpeg or whatever, so it's usually less then a tenth of the original size and easily streamed even at large resolutions
[08:35]<Dino4Delta> Ive seen an uncompressed movie once
[08:36]<@BC_Programming> of course you have
[08:36]<@BC_Programming> you can't see a compressed movie
[08:36]<Dino4Delta> it was like 80gb or w/e, and it was like a few mins =o
[08:36]<@BC_Programming> the computer/dvd decompresses it :P
[08:36]<Dino4Delta> ooh
[08:36]<Dino4Delta> hmm ok :/
[08:36]<@BC_Programming> dvd player I should say
[08:36]<Dino4Delta> I am not very smart at this stuff :p
[08:38]<@BC_Programming> well take a DVD
[08:38]<@BC_Programming> it's 4.7GB, but the actual video data uncompressed would probably be a good 20 or so GB, at least
[08:38]<Dino4Delta> yup
[08:39]<@BC_Programming> when you play the DVD the dvd player decompresses it and then can send the "full" uncompressed data to the TV; the "bottleneck" was getting the data off the DVD, so they had to compresss it
[08:40]<Dino4Delta> on the DVD u mean? :p
[08:40]<@BC_Programming> ya
[08:41]<Dino4Delta> Finished the webapplication =)
[08:41]<Dino4Delta> so now im just waiting till its 5 pm
[08:41]<Dino4Delta> to go home
[08:41]<@BC_Programming> I changed my site a tad yesterday after I read the book GUI Bloopers
[08:42] * jacky (the_kink@mib-9D199C.slsbmd.east.verizon.net) has joined #glitchpc
[08:42] * ChanServ sets mode: +q
[08:42] * ChanServ sets mode: +o jacky
[08:42]<Dino4Delta> why? :o
[08:42] * ChanServ sets mode: -q
[08:42] * ChanServ sets mode: +o jacky
[08:42]<@BC_Programming> I changed it so that the "selected" link in the navigation area is "indented" from the others
[08:42]<@BC_Programming> to indicate that that's the current page
[08:43]<@BC_Programming> while I was at it I made the links make more sense rather then having a long list of GET arguments it's just index.php?page=links and the index knows exactly what to include
[08:43]<Dino4Delta> nice
[08:43]<Dino4Delta> ooh
[08:44]<Dino4Delta> instead of index.php?bla=1&test=yes&more=bullshit
[08:44]<Dino4Delta> thats what you mean?
[08:44]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[08:44]<Dino4Delta> nice
[08:44]<@BC_Programming> because the links page is actually /downloads/downloads.php?dltype=6 or something
[08:45]<@BC_Programming> so the index page had to be index.php?page=downloads&dltype=6
[08:45]<@BC_Programming> since I wasn't able to figure out how to include a page with specific get arguments
[08:46]<@BC_Programming> so I just hacked it by changing the get Array directly before the include, heh
[08:46]<Dino4Delta> nice =)
[08:46]<@BC_Programming> I mostly had to add that though since I needed a way to know which button corresponded to the current page; with the page=whatever method I can just look at the passed value
[08:47]<@BC_Programming> and then change the "selected" button link accordingly
[08:48]<@BC_Programming> at some point I'll actually make it a different image but that will be a pain, since the rollover images are actually one image that I move around within the div using CSS positioning and :Hover
[08:50]<Dino4Delta> Glad im not that far in webdesign
[08:50]<Dino4Delta> too lazy to find out how css works :/
[08:50]<Dino4Delta> ol
[08:50]<Dino4Delta> lol*
[08:51]<Dino4Delta> Anyway
[08:51]<Dino4Delta> I have to go now
[08:51]<@BC_Programming> aww
[08:51]<@BC_Programming> ok :P
[08:52]<Dino4Delta> its 10 to 5 pm :)
[08:52]<Dino4Delta> byes

[09:37]<+Mulreay> just done it, lost everything though.. all my bookmarks etc
[09:37]<@BC_Programming> there's a new version already
[09:38]<@BC_Programming> curses they update fast
[09:38]<@BC_Programming> -> did you uninstall the old? it mgiht still be somewhere... although I haven't a clue where Chrome stores those things
[09:39]<+Mulreay> ahh wait they have changed it in the update... your bookmarks are now hidden until you open a new tab
[09:39]<@BC_Programming> oh you mean on that weird "startup" page they give you?
[09:39]<+Mulreay> still had to reinstall all the extensions and themes.. done now
[09:39]<+Mulreay> yeah
[09:39]<@BC_Programming> it does that in my version as well
[09:40]<@BC_Programming> mines.. 5 point something
[09:40]<+Mulreay> checking mine
[09:40]<+Mulreay> 8.0.552.224
[09:40]<@BC_Programming> yeah I'm updating mine now
[09:41]<@BC_Programming> I never use it, it's my backup backup browser
[09:41]<+Mulreay> yeah my FF has gone woncky so started using chrome as my main now.. I find it pleasing on the eye
[09:42]<@BC_Programming> personally I can't stand it. It's like they read a GUI design book abotu menus and said "<censored> it we'll just use a wrench"
[09:42]<+Mulreay> heh
[09:43]<+Mulreay> and now my PS3 has crashed... WTF is going on here!!
[09:44]<@BC_Programming> heh, and then a piece of iceberg lettuce crashes through your window
[09:44]<+Mulreay> lol
[09:46]<+Mulreay> haha can't get that image out of my head now... some lettuce with penguins on it comes through the window... It's like the Titanic, you can't tell me everyone did'nt laugh when the iceberg hit and all the penguins fell over!
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> I think they made a movie about that
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> the penguins I mean
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> they called it "iceberg"
[09:47]<@BC_Programming> "watch out captain! there be a boat!"
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> and then the iceberg hit the boat
[09:48]<+Mulreay> heh
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> over 200 penguins fell overboard
[09:48]<sonicrules1234> Lol
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> I mean they swam to shore just fine but they got wet
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> which was only mildly inconvenient and all
[09:48]<+Mulreay> yeah
[09:48]<@BC_Programming> and when they saw all the people trapped on the boat they hit and the catastrophe that unfolded
[09:49]<@BC_Programming> they did the only thing they could do
[09:49]<@BC_Programming> "who wants popcorn"
[09:49]<sonicrules1234> xD
[09:49]<@BC_Programming> penguins apparently have vast underground popcorn farms
[09:49]<@BC_Programming> it's a little known secret
[09:49]<+Mulreay> lol
[09:49]<@BC_Programming> nobody can get it without formal attire
[09:50]<sonicrules1234> Can linux users get it?
[09:50]<@BC_Programming> of course
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> apt-get secret-underground-penguin-farming-community
[09:51]<sonicrules1234> xD
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> that gives you a program, that lets you print out the oragami sweater you need to wear
[09:51]<sonicrules1234> LOL
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> hey I didn't make these rules
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> it was
[09:51]<@BC_Programming> the penguins
[09:52]<@BC_Programming> also I think some seals might have been on the board of directors
[09:52]<+Mulreay> heh
[09:52]<@BC_Programming> they needed some seals to close their envelopes you see
[09:53]<@BC_Programming> if memory serves they got kicked off when it was discovered they were performing secret underground genetic research to try to create the ultimate warrior
[09:53]<+Mulreay> oh dear
[09:53]<@BC_Programming> half-walrus, half-whale
[09:53]<+Mulreay> he's off and there are early signs of this going on for a while
[09:53]<@BC_Programming> with the agility of a blue whale and the beauty of a walrus, this was a force to be reckoned with
[09:53]<@BC_Programming> also, it is a jedi
[09:53]<@BC_Programming> that's important
[09:54]<+Mulreay> of course
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> basically, it turned out that the seals were actually sith lords trying to take over the universe, like they always do. Why can't they just start a small restaurant and be content with that
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> "SITH waffle and pancakes"
[09:54]<+Mulreay> heh
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> you can see them pouring syrup on a waffle
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> "YES, let the syrup flow through you"
[09:54]<sonicrules1234> Use their force powers to cook them?
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> I suppose they could do that
[09:55]<sonicrules1234> And pour the syrup too
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> but they mostly use them to create useless lightning bolts for no reason
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> that's just what they do, I guess
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> "I am a sith so I must use electricity!"
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> they make great electricians
[09:55]<sonicrules1234> LOL
[09:56]<+Mulreay> mmm the sith lord power company, just some sith lords plugged into the mains
[09:56]<@BC_Programming> where was I, ahh yes, so anyway, the Seals were all OMG only Jedis can destroy Sith right and they were all panicked and clapping a lot
[09:56]<@BC_Programming> oh wait
[09:56]<@BC_Programming> or was it the seals that were evil
[09:57]<@BC_Programming> yeah it was the penguins, they were all concerned, the seals were all "haha we fooled you we can make ourselves look really old"
[09:57]<@BC_Programming> and then master Pingin, a half-penguin, half-bowling pin ghost came and trained them all in the jedi arts
[09:57]<+Mulreay> lol
[09:58]<@BC_Programming> turns out that the Penguins were in fact the jedi bloodline
[09:58]<@BC_Programming> The fate of the poles was decided in an epic battle that lasted nearly 7 hours, 6 if you don't count the lunch break
[09:59]<@BC_Programming> some dialogue was spoken, that half-penguin half bowling pin guy appeared was all "alright, let's party"
[09:59]<@BC_Programming> and everybody partied
[10:00]<@BC_Programming> except the whalerus
[10:00]<@BC_Programming> that was what they called the half-whale half-walrus
[10:00]<@BC_Programming> he was off in the shadows
[10:00]<@jacky> be back later
[10:00] * jacky (the_kink@mib-9D199C.slsbmd.east.verizon.net) has left #glitchpc
[10:00]<@BC_Programming> contemplating possible plots for a sequel
[10:01]<+Mulreay> heh
[10:01]<@BC_Programming> then Cindy-loo penguin, who was no more then.. err, a penguin, gave him a gift
[10:01]<@BC_Programming> then what happened
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> well in penguin-ville they say, the whalerusses heart grew three sizes that day
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> directly translated- he had a heart attack
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> he was mourned by his wife, and three children
[10:02]<@BC_Programming> and a pet dog they somehow had
[10:03]<@BC_Programming> oh yeah and the dog was a robot
[10:03]<+Mulreay> of course it was
[10:04]<@BC_Programming> it just stands to reason of course
[10:05]<@BC_Programming> so before the camera faded to black it zooms in on the robot dog and he gives the camera the shifty-eyes
[10:05]<@BC_Programming> you know that that means
[10:05]<@BC_Programming> sequel
[10:07]<+Mulreay> indeed
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> whew
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> that was a keeper
[10:07]<+Mulreay> heh
[10:07]<@BC_Programming> pingin, not sure where I came up with that one
[10:08]<@BC_Programming> now to read some of my old blog posts
[10:08]<+Mulreay> from the vast bowels of your pscyche

[11:59]<@BC_Programming> I mean in flstudio
[11:59]<@BC_Programming> damned if the last tweaks are not being a PITA

[12:25]<@BC_Programming> Rendering my "composition" which is more a cover
[12:25]<@BC_Programming> as you will see
[12:26]<+Mulreay> sweet
[12:27]<@BC_Programming> wow rendering a FLStudio project seems to take almost as long as a 3-D animation
[12:28]<@BC_Programming> speaking of which I had a cool idea for my beginning animation, have some cubes sitting around that show clips of my other vids
[12:28]<+Mulreay> nice
[12:28]<@BC_Programming> going to have to get a nice assortment of game clips first though
[12:29]<@BC_Programming> although I guess I already have some at my disposal
[12:29]<+Mulreay> yeah
[12:29]<+Mulreay> I was going to say...
[12:29]<@BC_Programming> But first, I must get to the forest temple on Ocarina of Time and record myself going through it as fast as possible
[12:30]<@BC_Programming> why the forest temple? No reason. Just because
[12:30]<+Mulreay> My right leg has gone to sleep... just thought I would share that
[12:30]<+Mulreay> lazy bastard right leg
[12:30]<@BC_Programming> thanks, I will certainly take that into consideration.

[12:35]<@BC_Programming> and I toyed with it over time
[12:36]<@BC_Programming> but now that I step back it actually sounds pretty accurate

[12:54]<@BC_Programming> one that works
[12:54]<@BC_Programming> heh
[12:54]<+Mulreay> heh
[12:54]<@BC_Programming> doesn't really matter. you need cat5e or cat6 for gigabit
[12:55]<+Mulreay> mmm cat6 then
[13:01]<+Mulreay> ok just bought a 10m headphone extension cable, 2 5m cat6 ethernet cables and a 5m VGA extension cable... I'm all knackered from shopping
