[10:36]<@BC_Programming> heh my desk fell apart the other day
[10:36]<@BC_Programming> keyboard tray fell right off when I went to open it
[10:37]<+Mulreay> heh, that's why my bed works so well.. the most that can happen is my pillow needs adjusting
[10:37]<+Mulreay> cheers for the heads up jacky
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> there were ball bearings everywhere. Well I assume there still are really
[10:38]<@jacky> Mulreay: :)
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> can't see the floor through the layer of pop bottles
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> which I have there for acoustic buffering, not because I am lazy
[10:38]<+Mulreay> heh
[10:39]<@BC_Programming> has Tux whitelisted you on the server yet?
[10:39]<Tux2> lol, same whitelist from 1.7.3
[10:39]<+Mulreay> I think so... I broke some dirt last night... but I did spend most of my time jumping about enjoying the cool FPS
[10:40]<@BC_Programming> haha
[10:40]<Tux2> If he's played on the server before, he's whitelisted...
[10:40]<+Mulreay> Yeah I was on once or twice...
[10:40]<@BC_Programming> oh ok tux, wasn't sure
[10:40]<+Mulreay> will go on in a bit just waiting for a live competition draw
[10:40]<Tux2> lol, no problem.
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> I think it's about time I turned my chicken farm into an automatic chicken slaughtering machine
[10:41]<+Mulreay> is there a tectonus or whatever it's called for the map so I can see where everyone's homes are?
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> that's a good question
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> most of them are near the spawn
[10:41]<Tux2> there's an old version on the website...
[10:41]<Tux2> I need to update it...
[10:42]<+Mulreay> Yeah, I want neighbours I know if that makes sense :p
[10:42]<Tux2> lol, totally
[10:42]<Tux2> if you want I can give you a tour around town when you get on.
[10:42]<+Mulreay> that would be cool
[10:43]<+Mulreay> thx
[10:43]<Tux2> no problem. :)
[10:43]<@BC_Programming> when I built my initial house I thought I was far from town
[10:43]<@BC_Programming> now I'm inside it, lol
[10:43]<@BC_Programming> talk abotu urban sprawl
[10:43]<Tux2> lol!
[10:44]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:03] * Shah (iSun@810E3307.32BD5386.14B510DA.IP) Quit (Ping timeout)
[11:17]<Tux2> Hey BC_Programming, how would you like to help out with a few custom plugins we are creating for the server?
[11:17]<@BC_Programming> hmm I guess so
[11:17]<@BC_Programming> what are they?
[11:18]<Tux2> LWC spout GUI to replace the glitchy digilock one we have now, a new region management system that's like regios just without all the glitchy bugs and self service protection that uses iconomy, and a chest shop plugin
[11:19]<@BC_Programming> hmmm
[11:19]<@BC_Programming> sounds complicated
[11:20]<Tux2> lol, very. We are usually on via teamspeak or skype for long coding marathons for plugins like this.
[11:22]<Tux2> We are going to have heavy mySQL interaction so that you can edit your regions and shop prices online, while also having a catalog online where you can browse everyone's stores as well.
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> wow
[11:23]<Tux2> Yeah. Plus have a spoutcraft GUI for inside the game.
[11:24]<Tux2> Basically all of them are going to work together to create our economy and self service protection system.
[11:25]<Tux2> While being simple to use
[11:27]<Tux2> I know all that is huge as far as the workload, but we've done it before with other stuff...
[11:28]<Tux2> So, what do you say BC_Programming, are you interested?
[11:28]<@BC_Programming> kind of
[11:30]<Tux2> lol, is it the java part?
[11:30]<@BC_Programming> I've never worked with spout, nor mySQL via java
[11:31]<Tux2> lol, I've only worked with spout once and never really worked with mySQL via java before either...
[11:31]<@BC_Programming> well OK
[11:31]<Tux2> but those are just two very small parts...
[11:31]<@BC_Programming> but how do we start something like this
[11:32]<Tux2> :) I usually start a git repo on my server and add all of the dev team's public keys
[11:32]<Tux2> I then make the skeleton project, we all get on teamspeak and then I start dishing out classes and assignments to everyone
[11:34]<@BC_Programming> cool
[11:38]<Tux2> Yup. Usually while I'm creating the git repo on the server I will be discussing our plan of attack for that certain project and how I want some stuff structured, then everyone goes wild. I would have to say it makes for very rapid quality development as everyone is feeding off each other and discussing stuff.
[11:41]<Tux2> We basically pumped out a private plugin that did a whole mob management system in less than a week!
[11:41]<Tux2> (on commission)
[11:41]<@BC_Programming> A web-facing interface wouldn't be java, though, I imagine?
[11:43]<Tux2> Nope, that would be in PHP
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> cool
[11:43]<Tux2> Are you thinking you want to try your hand at that as well?
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[11:44]<Tux2> Cool!
[11:44]<Tux2> I usually cover the parts that no one else wants to cover. ;)
[11:45]<Tux2> Part of the webgui is going to be a mysql database of all the item ids (with damage) their respective item name, and a link to a picture
[11:46]<Tux2> That way new items can be added quickly through the webgui itself.
[11:46]<Tux2> (or just a quick phpmyadmin edit)
[12:47]<@jacky> be back later
[12:47] * jacky (the_kink@mib-7905AEAC.slsbmd.east.verizon.net) has left #glitchpc
[13:19]<+Mulreay> Anyone home?
[13:19]<@BC_Programming> hi
[13:20]<+Mulreay> hellloo... I have a pick of my GPU :p just took a while to get it over to my computer
[13:20]<@BC_Programming> oh cool
[13:21]<+Mulreay> wow it needs resizing
[13:25]<+Mulreay> OK resized in CS5 uploading]
[13:25]<+Mulreay> http://imagebin.org/180915
[13:26]<@BC_Programming> oh
[13:26]<@BC_Programming> wow
[13:27]<+Mulreay> That's without the lid... it still needs some mods
[13:27]<+Mulreay> But everything around the GPU has been cut away using wire cutters and brute force
[13:28]<+Mulreay> luckily the fan system is self contained so not having the lid on will not really effect cooling
[13:29]<Craig> Hahaha NICE
[13:29]<Craig> thats epic
[13:29]<+Mulreay> heh thanks
[13:29]<+Mulreay> You gotta do what you gotta do :p
[13:30]<Craig> I am livestreaming some website editing I am doing, so I am here to chat for a while. :)
[13:30]<+Mulreay> cool

[13:33]<+Mulreay> where are you livestreaming Craig? and hello camerongray
[13:33]<Craig> www.livestream.com/brokedcomputer
[13:34]<+Mulreay> OK I'm on
[13:35]<+Mulreay> Will have to turn the radio off though
[13:38]<+Mulreay> BC_Programming are you on the MC server?
[13:38]<@BC_Programming> not atm
[13:38]<+Mulreay> k
[13:42]<+Mulreay> give me a nod if you do go on so I can see your 'digs'.
[13:42]<@BC_Programming> I can go on now if you like
[13:42]<+Mulreay> yeah would be cool
[13:49]<Craig> I need more montiors....
[13:49]<Craig> Monitors*
[13:53]<Craig> Hey BC, you good with PHP?
[13:53]<Craig> PHP mailers I should say
[13:54]<@BC_Programming> hmm not dealt with them tbh
[14:01]<Craig> ok Thanks anyway. :)
[14:01]<+Mulreay> OK be back in a short while... there's something on TV I need to watch
[14:02]<@BC_Programming> k
[14:02]<+Mulreay> on MC I'll still be here
[14:03]<Craig> hahaha NEDD to watch.. :P
[14:03]<+Mulreay> It's a BBC science program about the planet... gives me inspiration for articles on space and science
[14:04]<+Mulreay> so there
[14:04]<+Mulreay> :p
[14:12]<+Mulreay> Actually will watch on the BBC iplayer later in 1080p

[14:19]<Tux2> lol Mulreay, I've NEVER modified a case THAT much before...
[14:23]<+Mulreay> heh
[14:23]<+Mulreay> had to be done
[14:24]<Craig> hahahah
[14:24]<+Mulreay> needed to play minecraft with you guys
[14:24]<@BC_Programming> yeah it was either that or spend more money on the low profile card
[14:24]<+Mulreay> 3x as much money to be fair
[14:25]<+Mulreay> I need coal... badly
[14:25]<Tux2> lol, on the server Mulreay?
[14:25]<+Mulreay> yep, setting up home
[14:25]<Tux2> nice
[14:25]<+Mulreay> I'm fixing up a ruin that BC_Programming pointed out to me
[14:25]<+Mulreay> it now has doors
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> you could make charcoal
[14:26]<+Mulreay> good point
[14:26]<+Mulreay> can mobs not enter spawn town?
[14:27]<@BC_Programming> I'm not sure how that works
[14:27]<@BC_Programming> I don't think so
[14:27]<+Mulreay> cool idea if that's the way it works
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> lol
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> somebody on MC forum didn't know what Ubuntu was, and everybody was all "OMG it is the awesomest thing ever"
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> and I just said "Ubuntu is an african word you use to disguise a Debian fork"
[14:29]<Tux2> lol BC_Programming
[14:29]<+Mulreay> lol
[14:29]<@BC_Programming> then some ubuntard was all "It's a Debian based distro, not a Fork."
[14:29]<@BC_Programming> and I said "the disguise has fooled you"
[14:29]<Craig> HAHAHAH

[15:28]<+camerongray> Cool, I'm coming on
[15:28]<+Mulreay> Will be back on in a while, just uploading some stuff to my pc
[15:29]<+Mulreay> How does the locked chests work? and locked doors?
[15:29]<@BC_Programming> press l
[15:29]<@BC_Programming> oh wait
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> that's only if you have spoutcraft
[15:30]<+Mulreay> ok, no need at the moment for me just future ref
[15:31]<+Mulreay> what mods should I get for the server?
[15:31]<@BC_Programming> use /cprivate and then left click what you want to lock
[15:31]<+Mulreay> oh ok
[15:32]<+Mulreay> Just install this game and I'll be back on
[15:33]<@BC_Programming> server is down for 30-45 minutes, being moved to another server
[15:33]<+Mulreay> ahh ok
[15:36]<+Mulreay> My housemate is a total A hole
[15:36]<@BC_Programming> good to know
[15:37]<+Mulreay> He's been making bacon sandwiches... now I'm hungry
[15:37]<Tux2> lol...
[15:37]<Craig> Hey Mulreay you have played with Celestia Right?
[15:38] * camerongray (camerongra@D71A590.3264394E.BA0C458F.IP) Quit (Quit: Leaving)
[15:38]<+Mulreay> that's just a rumour I never touched here I swear
[15:38]<Craig> ??
[15:38]<@BC_Programming> she would send you to the moon if you tried I imagine
[15:38]<+Mulreay> heh
[15:38]<Tux2> lol...
[15:39]<+Mulreay> that was a her* but I guess I lost the 'funny' in that
[15:39]<@BC_Programming> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celestia
[15:39]<+Mulreay> Craig I don't think so
[15:39]<@BC_Programming> I imagine Craig is talking about that though
[15:40]<Craig> Hahaha Yeah I am talking about the program that BC highlighted there.
[15:41]<+Mulreay> very nice I suppose
[15:45]<Craig> I am playing around with the textures on it on my livestream
[15:47]<+Mulreay> Nearly bonfire night and for the first time in a looooong time I've actually bought fireworks
[15:50]<+Mulreay> I did get ID'd though which always makes me laugh... Them 'we check for anyone who looks under 21' Me 'I'm 32, shows drivers licence' Them 'oh ok sorry about that' Me 'it's because I'm short isn't it?' Them 'no no it's just your well erm you kinda look, you know?' Me 'I look young because I'm short' Them 'yeah sorry'.
[15:50]<Craig> You know that you have made the program a bit much when it slows down a 3.2Ghz quad core. :P
[15:51]<Craig> Hahhah Nice
[15:51]<+Mulreay> lol Craig indeed
[15:52]<Craig> http://livestream.com/brokedcomputer.
[15:52]<Craig> minus the .
[15:52]<@BC_Programming> haha... I can't even find the moon...
[15:53]<@BC_Programming> oh there it is
[15:53]<+Mulreay> It's the bigger light in the sky other than the sun and the stars
[15:53]<@BC_Programming> ... in celestia... it's dark because atm it's closer to the sun than the earth
[15:54]<@BC_Programming> found Jupiter
[15:55]<Craig> You can also right click on Earth, select satelites or moons then the item you want. :)
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> now I'm lost in interstellar space
[15:56]<+Mulreay> lol
[15:57]<Craig> Check out the stream now, you will get a better understanding.
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> ok managed to find my way back to Sol
[15:59]<@BC_Programming> Ceres you sexy asteroid you
[15:59]<+Mulreay> lol

[16:06]<@BC_Programming> I don't think the music scene is quite the same
[16:07]<Craig> No, I'd imagine not...
[16:13]<+Mulreay> There is nothing worse than the XBox controller except having to use an XBox controller for onlive and then buying a PS3 again
[16:14]<Craig> :P
[16:16]<Tux2> Craig, Mulreay, BC_Programming, the minecraft server is back up!
[16:17]<Craig> Yay,

[19:51]<+Mulreay> It did cost £200 so if it doesn't I will just dig a hole and cry, and then I will get my best friend to sleep with my girlfriend as I have to watch whilst she laughs...
