Before Posting a bug report, be sure of the following:

1. Are you sure the "Bug" is not actually a part of the design of the program? Review any included documentation to make sure.

2. Descriptions like "I was clicking around and it crashed" don't really help narrow down the cause. Make sure to include as much info as possible. Also, many BASeCamp Applications have Debug builds; if this is the case, try using the debug build and causing the same issue. the debug log from the crash might be helpful in determining the cause and fixing it. (the debuglog written by any BASeCamp application can be found in a "Debuglogs" folder beneath the application executable, or, in the case of libraries, in the DLL's folder.

Take note that some applications, such as BCSearch, comprise of two or more BASeCamp Projects; in this case, BCSearch uses BCFile. Both of these write debug output to the appropriate directory, but they are not in the same place.

3. Your System info may be relevant, as well. Try to include as much as you can; basics being OS, memory, disk size, and processor.
